I’d like to see Machiko added into the game as a ft member but everyone would want her to have her mask and cloaking abilities along with caster wrist blades and so on. If you add her as a predator class she wouldn’t be fast enough or have enough health…

Adding her would make zero sense
She fights With predators at the beginning of her series, but she was unblooded, she rejoined the human race. A few years later she was asked to hunt predators by her govt.
She is a meter shorter, is twice as small and has thinner bones than the predator.
And yet was blooded into a predator tribe.
But did she actually hunt predators?
No
The purpose of this topic is to figure out a way to include her in this game in a balanced way without being unrealistic about it.

I would use her if she was a predator but the question is if she can be added now that Disney owns the rights to the predator franchise. Seems even more unlikely since dark horse made those books.
Only way this can happen is if Machiko is on the Predator side. Which i think she is…but like i think narrative wise, it would be one of those special case DLCs like the Alpha predator…unless every dlc predator is part of some large narrative.
How would she function as a predator? I’ve only heard of her but don’t really know much other than she’s a human who’s been accepted into predator culture. Would she be able to leap or have the stamina to run faster than the FT? I just don’t think this game would be able to accommodate her.
There would be no way to balance her enough to put her into the game. Sorry not sorry
Clearly a what if scenerio. Not expecting Aliens to jump out in this game, but if shes in it…they are bound to.

Machiko was taken into the tribe by the code they follow.
She was marked by a hunter who she fought alongside and got some rep.
Even though she was blooded she was treated like garbage and not really accepted as her being in the clan was more like a formality than an actual respect/honour based situation.
She left because she would not hunt humans and the lines were drawn in the sand from that point forward.
She would be a ft member not a predator class
She should be added as a random fireteam spawn the way that they used the character from Friday the 13th.
And she should be the same as the predator but with a lot less health and a parkour style that is reminiscent of your skills in the assassins creed games.

I see what you want to do, but she is from AVP franchise, since we finally have a PREDATOR game, maybe its bit to early to turn it in to another AVP game?

Well spoted pall! Although it wolud be awsom if samuria looked like that - he dose not. He is hunter class pred body in a japanese samurai armour… shame ;-(
I understand Machiko more than Lex Woods (some have asked for her) as she was the original and better version of “human who fights alongside the preds and becomes a blooded by killing a queen xeno”. Machiko is also a rare opportunity for a dual DLC pack with a version of her as a Pred and as a FT due to her changing alliances throughout her story arc. The big problem why I see her as unfortunately unlikely accept as a fun non-canon is because she is from the AvP Space Colonies time period so she wasn’t even a thought back in 2025. I always like her though.
