Macros in PHG!

It seems that this is an ongoing topic in this forum. My question is this, how do macros or what macros benefit FT mains? As far as I know, the only two macros you can program for FT are turbo action for pistols and to escape the net.

Considering that majority of players can click more than 6 times per second, how is this beneficial? If you’re planning on meeting a pred with the Grimtech at point blank, then yes, it will be useful.

To escape the net you can program turbo action so all you do is hold down the button instead of clicking it repeatedly, it will still take you about 2 to 3 seconds to escape if the pred is running Trapper perk.

Now on the other hand, pred mains can benefit from all sorts of macros in order to to double or triple hit combos, animations canceling, quick shots, and such…

I see a lot of pred mains complaining about FT macros, but they’re the ones running all kinds of quick shot macros, broken loadouts, exploits, they just keep it hush hush or don’t see a problem with what they do.

I left the game and can honestly say the only macro I used consistently was to escape the net because I think mashing a keyboard key is plain stupid (my opinion), I tried the Grimtech turbo and it’s just a waste of bullets tbh, I even switched to smg as secondary so people wouldn’t keep accusing me of using macros for the pistol.

Either way, the point is that in shooting games there is nothing to be gained from using turbo action macros and the devs know this, that’s why they don’t do anything to stop players from using them.

Predator: Arrow (no charge) on click execution.
Predator: slicing comboes for melees that have combos. Now this doesn’t make it stronger or faster, but macros means you can one button hold and do this without thinking.

There is no other real macros for predators i think.

No, it isn’t. You guys in this forum think macros are controversial. It’s literally a selling point of some PC and console products “it comes with easy programmable macro keys” or “turbo action controller buttons”

using it’s literally a selling point doesn’t make something inherently good?

you can sell bad things a program that allows you to circumvent a skill is bad i don’t know what’s so hard about this to understand?

now of course if it’s done as an in game option than it’s fine IE some fighting games literally have control options to “macro” commands like hitting Punch+Kick at the same time cause it’s intended gameplay hell i even think in game exploits are ok if it adds something good such as “wave dashing” in super smash brothers melee if it’s an in game thing it’s fair game so that does mean for me assault duelist/Hunter Stalker is fine

I never liked the idea of using a program outside of the game to give any type of assistance, which is why I don’t use it… No way to control what others do, people can just choose to not play with those that use that, like boycott. In fact no ones has to play with anyone in this game if they don’t want to for whatever reason they have.

hunter stalker or assault duelist are good because they allow a player to express themselves with a playstyle that isn’t limited arbitrarily

as long as you are not using an outside of game method yes assuming it adds some kind of depth or more gameplay variety/expression for the player
