You are now unable to equip the under barrel grenade launcher if you use the custom controls mapping on controller!! Im thinking this issue only happens when on night maps…The option to press the down button is still there it just will not work no matter what input i put it as!! Im on ps5 but im sure its like this no matter what controller you use

Um, sure i can try and help… also to elaborate its the toggle fire mode input… it wont let you switch to the under barrel grenade launcher or semi automatic on other weapons when using custom controls inputs instead of the default controls
Try deleting your save data and then check if the issue still persists

Id rather not im pretty sure its not on my end because it works just fine on the default controls it only happens if you use custom controls. My brother also uses custom controls and his does the same thing… anyway you can test it because i reallu dont want to have to remake all 24 of my loadouts lol

If every single player that uses custom controls has this issue then i doubt deleting my saved data will fix this… has something to do with yall adding those night vision goggles im assuming… so you want both me and my brother to delete our saved data??? When it works just fine on default controls??? You understand what i am saying??

since this is a thread regarding custom control mapping any news of if leap/branch switch is getting fixed?
as it doesn’t allow leaping in second wind with this control and hasn’t since launch reseting save data does not fix this issue

jump/branch switch obviously allows one to jump in second wind so therefore this should allow leaping

You stopped replying to me though?? Are you a developer i need help you never answered to my previous comment i told you that my brother is also having the same issue so doesn’t that confirm it has nothing to do with my saved data??
As I said, if you’re not willing to troubleshoot with me, I am unable to help you further. It could very well be your brother needs to delete his save data too.

I just confirmed i am only having this issue on night maps, so it has something to do with illfonic adding the night vision goggles, but it works if I switch it back to standard control scheme… so it you could please report this bug to illfonic i would appreciate i know for a fact deleting my saved data will not work i am aware that that does fix a lot of bugs such as the rebreather mask not working, but this one’s different i only started having this issue as soon as the night maps came out, thanks
This is because the night vision goggles are what is messing up your keybinds. QA is telling me you need to delete your save data to fix the issue, I can’t help you otherwise.

@Kassinaillia @OldKingHamlet @Courier below is how my controller is set up and I got NVG to work, but the Fire Mode does not, so with grenade launcher weapons I cannot toggle between the rifle and grenade launcher. Before I had the up D pad set to spotting/emote wheel, and NVG was no where to be found, so I put NVG on the left d pad and it works (but fire mode does not).
As mentioned above, you’ll need to delete your save data.
