I remember playing one of the old far cry’s and remember they had a map builder. What if @illfonic released us a map builder like that. They can provide all the template items. I’m sure there are people who would love to make maps. Say I made one and I’m queuing up to play a quick match. Everyone will have the option to vote what map we play in. My custom one would be a 3rd option and we would have the option of 2 of the original illfonic maps.Maybe we can have a voting system Or star system that players can rate it. Illfonic can add the best ones to the normal rotation. Idk if the trees that are set up with predators parkour can automatically work if they give us the same trees, or if they would have to do special programming to make it work together. If they have to do work to make it work, then maybe it can be added to the best ranked ones once they put it in the official rotation. Idk if they could add a simple template for the objectives to be added to these player made maps. If not then it’s basically a death match. Even if there were new maps with no objectives,V, or the predators parkour system, I think this would still bring new life to the game. I know illfonic is a small developer and I’m excited to see what new stuff they bring to us. The maps they already made are fun. They are obviously crazy busy cuz of the amount of issues and updates they have dropped. Even though it’s still being worked on they have there hands full. They can focus on the bugs and whatever they have planned and give us this map builder in the meantime. We as a community can make them And help them out to feed our appetites. Love this game and love the predator franchise. This game can last years if done right. I don’t know programming and I’m not going to pretend like I do but I know making a game is a shit ton of work. Small company or big company, it doesn’t matter. Illfonic is trying and that is great sign. They get so much hate by people here and online that it’s disgusting. Be grateful we have them and this game. I rather have this game in the state it’s in, bugs and all, then not have it at all. I haven’t been this excited for a game in a long time. They will continue to work on the bugs cuz they want us to stick around. They want to be successful, and as a small developer, this is how they will grow as a company. Doesn’t help bring toxic cuz of the glitches and bugs but keep Sharing the videos and screenshots so they can work on it. What does everyone think? Who would make a map if they gave us a sandbox? Between all the games they already made, the templates for objects and stuff are already there. Is this feasible? I don’t remember what far cry it was in but I remember seeing the map builder. Not likely… they still haven’t fixed the game for Christ’s sake XD the players have been trying to help them but so far I don’t see it working. Before they bring anything else out for gods sake they need to clean out the bugs, I’ve been gone long enough you’d think some of em would be scrubbed out but maybe that was too hopeful.
