Massive unbalance betwwen PC and PS4

You all must agree with me - PC Pred or all PC FT is almost unstopable. PS4 Pred and PS4 FT is a joke. Not saying players are bad or good, laking or not skill - it really does not matter when the game is very unbalanced and with the in-game mechanics we have right now crossplay is very unfair. Illfonic shuld do sometihn about this bullshit - mayby a small comment that they at least know about the problem?

i wouldn’t say there is much of a difference in PS4 or PC preds the only real difference is framerate which while yes could be an issue it doesn’t feel that bad for me at least now the FT i can agree with

I started playing this game as FT when it came out and PS4 preds were a joke. First I thought people need to learn how to play the alien, its simply more complex than a standard FPS. Then I have noticed PC preds were more difficult to deal with. It was a rule. After a while people leveled up and PS4 preads are still not match for me when I’m on PC FT side. PC preads are more problematic - to the point, when we have 2/3 PS4 mates on our FT we are all dead within minutes. This is not player skill or lack of skill, this is the game itself. Now I play mainly as pred and when I see I’m up against 4 PCs I know I will probablly die within minutes XD

Just turn cross play off who cares about pc players let them play together while ps4 players play together cross play is never a good idea in any shooter its fundamentally flawed right from the get go unless eveyr pc player use a controller

They cant upgrade peoples hardware within their own homes

PC runs faster and smoother than console. Plain and simple (I play ps4).

PC preds are easy peasy. So long as your fireteam ain’t a bunch of goons.

Full pc fireteams cant be beat unfortunately due to how crisp their systems can render everything (can see pred sitting still even in full 100% camo)

Spotting green outline of the pred needs to go and surely I’m sure pc players would be very leveled out after that.

There are little things that lean it in favour that will unfortunately dent the pc community and how they have played the game for the past month if any of this is changed…

So this mechanic is more valuable to people winning than actually playing and having a good balanced game.

You are rigth with spotting - it needs to go, end of. That would balance PC FT. But what about preds? Something needs to be done, when I’m a pred going against PS4 FT - they are all dead within first 5-7 mins of the game. I use only 87 Jungle hunter calss with sword and class myself as a very avrage (if not shit) player.

i mean if were using our own experiance as a measure i exclusivly run 2 builds one hunter one zerk my zerker runs combi/bow + impen down raange adrenal gland/ medkit bear trap an audio decoy
i have literally only lost 2 games in the past 3 weeks as a PS4 pred and i think i can recal one of those 2 teams were a full PC but i know the other one was a mix of the 2

while my hunter usually loses every 2nd or 3rd game i play
i don’t think PS4 preds are at much of a disadvantage now fireteams have a clear distinction but for preds it’s just the individual the hardware only does so much

Mayby, I guess the type of pred you are using will fave a impact. I only uje 87 Jungle Hunter. However the inbalance is there, you can tell if a pred is PC or PS4, simply by the amout of trobul it will give you - it shuld not be this way. Never mind PC FT being almost unstopable…

i haven’t noticed any diff with the preds being pc lol ft, obviously, but the pc preds don’t seem to stand out at all from what i can tell.

I have notcied few people are saying this rightn now. I personally was playing as the pred for the past two weeks, so not sure wat’s it like on the other side of the table just now, mayby something changed

Preds are about the same. But the PC fireteam can be superhuman. It’s just that the mouse aim gives a little more control between big and small adjustments so they can land more shots. (Not a matter of skill, just the reality of sensitivity on a thumbstick requires you to choose between being able to make a fast 180, or being able to make really tiny adjustments for long range headshots, while mouse gives you control to do both)

But PS4 fireteams can still be a pain. If they’re skilled and work together they can really ruin a Preds day. Aside from the bow, the PC Pred doesn’t really have any “precision” weapons. Maybe the caster…sort of. So the mouse advantage is minimal for him.
