Yeah. People should understand that 4 - 5 minute wait times are actually around the optimal time. If half the players want to play predator, then you’re looking at >8min queue times.

I still remember when they introduced a Pred daily challenge and queue times for pred went to 40 minutes
Needless to say, they have not made one available again because of it.

The default time is about 30 seconds for everyone, that’s about as long it takes for the server to process the matchmaking. That’s the ideal percentage balance of 80% FT and 20% Pred.
At 4-5 minute que I roughly estimate about 25% Pred and 75% FT. That’s how much a little percentage change can impact queue times.

actually they can fix it , they can force ppl play both ft and pred
or make it 1 game pred 1 game ft
or make it if you play ft you get lower time for your next pred game
or even better , make free the game ONLY for ft (on pc/ps4/5) and they will get money from dlc or from ppl which they gonna buy the full version

No, people will just quit the lobby because they wanna be able to choose. Introducing penalties for players who quit will only aggravate the problem
You still seem to not understand basic math. Your proposed idea for it to work, would need to be 4 matches as FT and 1 as Pred, still, forcing players to play a faction, I already mentioned it above
And people would probably exploit it by loading as FT, quit, load as Pred, and when everyone does it, back to square one
This might actually be the only reasonable idea here.

IMO, the only way to fix match making is if they release dedicated servers software so people can set up their own servers with their own set of rules. This will clear the pubs from “elite” players while also fixing the high ping problems with private matches.
if they quit force them again , if they stop playing thats good , less pred for the game
you actually dont understand math, if you force every pred in game to play 1 ft game for each pred game he plays we gonna decrease the waiting times a lot , half preds main gonna play ft that means less pred + more ft
like i said , if they leave/afk they gonna be locked to play only ft untill they stop leaving , so they wont
even if they troll they gonna be stack in the game until their teammates die , they gonna understand that sucks and they gonna start playing or keep watching 5-10 mins their team play

5 players, all want to play pred, they can’t because there’s not enough FT players
So 4 of them queue up as FT and 1 as Pred
Next match, now you have 4 players with Pred preference and one with FT
do you get it now?
You need 4 matches as FT so it balances it out correctly

No they’re not, but there’s this thing called “probability and statistics” … pretty useful
On average, I would estimate the median match time is about 8 minutes + 2 or 3 more minutes of lobby/briefing/debriefing time
and if they try anything that time will go to 0:30-4 mins which is better than 8 minutes
Personally I never complained about the wait , it was the wasted wait when matchmaking was broken , which still happens

Game released today for free. Most people teaming up, lower count for pred players, pred queue times instantly go down.
Few hours later players realize beating the pred isn’t as easy as they thought, now they wanna play pred, and queue times instantly go up.

5 - 10 Minutes are not that bad and don’t indicate a game being dead at all. Hell the players are even rising right now and even still new players join over epic, steam or ps.
I don’t know if you know that the wait times were 30 minutes to 1 hour in the very beginning. Even I know about that and I have started playing last year August.
