The best solution for pred wait times is to just find people to play privates. But then again some players dont want matches vs premades or hard matches on either as ft or pred. Winning vs randoms is good for the ego.

ah yes remember when there was there was a huge dip in steam charts globally? Millions of players vanished april 2018 and only the half inch sized brains remained

Look that’s on pc, but 5-10 minutes is not a healthy playerbase.

This is just for any game, on any platform.

A game with a good playerbase, will have 2-3 minutes matchmaking time.

5 shows its declining, and anything above that is a really bad sign.
This game is not popular, this game is not doing well.
Theres a few of us who still play it, but even then it’s not every day.

This game has pretty much been in the dead category for months now.
It will get a bit of life this month,
But until illfonic fixes all the issues. This game wont retain anyone for a long time.

I know this has been covered many times, but you are aware that it is a 4 to 1 ratio of fireteam to predator players, right?

And most of the people interested in playing this game are going to actually want to be the main character.

The ratio doesn’t matter, what I said was fact though.
In any game that’s doing well with a huge playerbase, you wait no longer than 2 or 3 minutes.

Anymore and it shows a decline.

The game hasnt been doing well and people have been seriously losing interest for several months now.

And while matchmaking may drive some people away, the main thing that makes people leave is all the technical issues.
That’s the main problem.

Bugs and clunkyness.

So matchmaking isnt really the issue, it’s just a good way to show the state of the game.

Bro , that doesn’t account for the broken lobbies . They have been fucked since launch and varies from week to week on performance. There were times that people could sit for 40 minutes of numerous ques to get no game . The fact people want to play pred? Its understandable, predator is the star attraction to a game named predator, so I distance myself from that bunch 😁

But sitting in ques to either not get a lobby or you get an empty lobby ? I think the water is murky when ques are discussed

I mean that’s to be expected that the players will surge with it being free on PS plus. But I will bet my soul they’re not going to stay very long and we’ll be back down to square one. Let’s see what happens by the end of the month shall we?

That’s not even my point. Regardless, it’s not even much of an issue anymore.

Math. Consider 8 total players, 4 players want to play fireteam and 4 players want to play predator, how long will each predator player have to wait to play compared to the 4 fireteam players?

I didn’t say it was , I pointed it out to make my point of why alot of people got pissed off with longer ques that was Russian roulette as to if the wait was justified .

Matchmaking isn’t much of an issue anymore? Lobbies are still broken for alot of people and now its the “heartbeat failure” issue , which at times takes up to a week to resolve itself.
