You only hope it places you in a lobby that is full and works, or better yet…
Thought they fixed it?
Been waiting for 30 minutes now to play a game this is constant since the latest update.

Would be nice if the devs could acknowledged this i only came on for a quick game, I may as well of stared at the wall for 45 minutes
If your searching as Predator that will forever be the story. Just the way it is. People are lined up forever to play predator.
If this fireteam search then you may have an issue and wanna list your region info so dev can look into it.
It might be stuck if it says connecting for a long time. That part doesn’t take long usually. Cancel and start again.
Been getting it a lot as well. It is the worst when I have started some Predator games. I understand that the queues for a Predator game are longer as there is one spot compared to the four on the FT. The problem is that it is difficult to use the wait constructively when the estimated wait time is off by X4 or X5. As the indication works now it is pretty useless.
After 10 min of waiting (5 min estimated), I finally find a game but i am with only 1 or 2 Fireteam players who instantly leave the game. It happened 3-4 times in a row. So many times lost. The matchmaking kills this good game
Yes, this afternoon (5/3) on PS4, I thought I’d try a match as a PREDATOR…because you know the game is called “PREDATOR” hunting grounds?
Silly me. I have NOT been able to get into 1 match as the predator. I’ve been waiting > 30 minutes. It goes to MATCHMAKING STATE -> PLACING STATE -> CONNECTING STATE -> COOLDOWN --> BACK TO MATCHMAKING …!!! real fun :(
I guess I was stupid to pay ILLFONIC $40 to be a BETA tester. I wasn’t aware I was paying to BETA test their servers :(
See if they get my money the next time.
I was waiting 8 min as FT and 10 min in dead lobby with 2 ppl and nothing, this matchmaking doesnot work. I cant find any match 2nd day
This exactly
2 mins tops for me. If ur only wanting to play as Predator, I hope you wait all day!!
I play regularly as the fire team with 3 of my friends so effectively helping the que times for the pred as we are a full lobby! Having said that i want to play the other half of the game as well
Idiot
I agree. I think there is something wrong in the matchmaking. If it goes over the time more than 2 minutes, its likely never gonna pop.
I usually get into matches as FT pretty quick actually, but when I try to play as Pred I do exceed the “estimated wait” however probably there are tons of people lining up to play as Pred therefore longer periods of time waiting, still I hope devs to fix it. How? I dont know…
Well they should probs put how many people in the cue and your postion, i assume theres more than one cue though
Nothing wrong with the matchmaking, dolts. So easy an idiot can do it.
I never ever wait more than 2 mins. Tops.
Estimates are just that. I swear anyone born after 1990 might just be tainted. English a problem?
There is something wrong with matchmaking m8.
You dont notice it that hard when queueing FT, because the queue times are faster.
i’ll try to explain where the frustrations are commig from :)
i guess the ratio predator/FT is around 1/25 (MAX) ==> matchmaking time predator = 25 x matchmaking time FT.
thats just logic and very fair, but it changes if you need to try 3-4 times to get a session.
example:
normale queue time FT = 30secs
normale queue time Predator = 30sec X 25= 12.5 minutes.
FT queue times out 3 times ==> you wait 90 seconds for no reason and have a match after 30 seconds== > we dont care right, because 2 minutes is decent.
predator queue times out 3 times ==> you wait 37.5 minutes for no reason and have a match after another 12.5 minutes.
==> waiting +30 minutes for a 5 minute game is just rediculous.
without the timeouts, it would be doable.
1.06 should have fixed this bug, but its still happening:
ps: i was born before 1990 and wrote queueing mechanics (not for gaming) myself, so i am aware of the complexity
