May The Fourth Event

So, I’m borrowing some ideas from For Honor here, but this would be a good boost to the playerbase.

May The Fourth Be With You Event:

All blades in game glow like lightsabers and all bullets are replaced with blaster shots!
Playing on this event day and earning a victory will allow you the option to keep the glowing/blaster effect for any shader of the weapons you win with!
So, if I win as Predator, I get saber shaders for wristblades and melee weapons equipped, and plasma shaders for the bow, caster, plasmapistol, and other ranged weapons equipped. If I win as FT, I get saber shaders for my knife and blaster shaders for my primaries and secondaries.

Would be a really fun event, and if you made it free to play for a weekend, it would really boost player numbers. @OldKingHamlet and @Courier PLEASE pass this on. Thank you all for your time!

For the event sure. Permanently? Absolutely not.
Non-particle effect cosmetics like armor/weapon shaders are fine. But blaster bolts/lightsaber effect on weapons? No thanks.

And its mandatory that illfonic add a “hello there” voice line. So when the predator drops down from above on an unexpected fire team, he says “hello there” lol
