Melee only option for FT

With the melee only option for Pred we should have one for FT including a perk that extends the parry window. Would like to be able to be like the Yakuza member from Predators. Also a melee while sprinting would be cool

To make possible aarger melee window would necessarly make the Predator melee animation slower or the game have a crystal ball to guess when the Pred player gonna melee.

Also please give predator a block option while the wrist blades are equipped as well as other melee weapons that don’t have a secondary attack

I can see a class that uses Predator tech primarily run melee weapons. Like a wrist blade that when aimed you can shoot one of two blades.

That would involve the classes actually being unique and not clones with stat changes. In reality that melee class would still be able to carry any weapon, have specializations that other classes have, and would have passives like, deal more melee damage, take less melee damage from pred.

But that’s already in the game, it’s Dutch 87 with the melee perk and the reckless if I’m not mistaken. Parry them once and get two hits in and you’ll take out anything but the biggest classes.

You build it around the melee weapon and role. So if you’re melee your probably going to be rushing objectives and sneaking around Predator. If it’s built around pred tech you could feasibly do an advanced stealth class. Cloaking and using tech not to clear areas but clear routes to get through silently.

I get what you’re saying but that would actually involve making an actual class with unique abilities with pros and cons. Knowing how this game handles things though it would be your cut of the mill FT member with slightly changed stats and passives that make them “melee focused” ie deal more melee damage and take less melee damage all while still being able to use any ranged weapon they want.

For a melee only class you’d expect them to be fast and mobile and have a way of traversing hard to reach areas due to not being able to use ranged weapons. We will never get that based solely off every single “class” in the game currently.

Until balancing strides and significant improvements to the melee system are made, this would be broken and virtually unchallenged. Melee is the wildcard a pred can play if range is a difficult option or opportunity arises. However, Dutch 87 already counters melee very well, punishing most melee attempts unless something out of his control happens. If you’re good with D87, you know exactly what I mean by disrupting melee attempts.
