Sorry for a lot of topics at once but upon actually loading up the game and seeing the classes being changed, so now hunter/city hunter are still strong but is elder in contention now that his health is hunter level? Not sure what the strongest predator is atm

Looks cooler in Genaral, has customization now so he’s prolly the best
Although it seems parrying has you take slight damage (as ft) and zerks passive has been buffed maybe he could be worth using for a melee type build (obviously not gonna be amazing at all but something different)

if your running a ranged heavy build it’s probably elder/scout depending on how much risk/reward you can get out of having less hp or wether or not you value having more gear
if your running a melee focus’d build probably just zerker assuming his passive value is now 10% or more like it used to be
but if your running a hybrid it’s probably alpha or samurai
unless samurai alpha and zerker have the same melee bonus value in which case it falls down on if you think you need hp to melee or not
albeit basic ass hunter is still pretty good as they do have the passive bullet damage reduction which does stack on impen and height advantage and they have the middle stat block so like yeah they finally became the happy middle man like they were always ment to be
BUT if i had to predict the meta build it’s probably gonna be big pouch medic down range on elder/hunter with whatever go to weapons like bow stick and medkit’s BT and audio decoys (on elder) probably

yeah but it’ll be a little while before i get around to it been working 12 hour shifts at the job since late june dude but it’s gonna be over oct 9th so when that happens yeah or if some other folk get around to it first whoever does then i’ll bring it up

I have also done a little testing myself and it seems that the sickle now does more than 125 dmg as I can down scout wit 3 hit combos.

Predator visibility, its so hard to see him coming now to the point its a pain he became completely invisible again at 50meter when in movement, its GOOD BUT TOO GOOD XD to be honest. sniper are useless expect if your a god atno scope

Nah man, its completely OP at this point. Even at 20 - 30 (not sure on the distance) the pred is completely invisible like standing still. You can’t see shit. I knew he was there and running since I was chasing him (low health) blood was even dropping from him and he was in the middle of a dirt road…
I’ve even tested low setting to see if there are any differences. I still could not see him at that distance. If you are in the jungle or he has jungle stuff around the base its insanely hard to find him.
I had a good bow predator and all I could do is keep running and try to finish the mission. You can no longer engage the pred. This is a major turnoff for me (from a fun point of view). Still won and I was by myself since he did not had traps and I’ve popped a STIM and got on the ropes as he was hitting me (trigger the evac and run away, I was by myself. the rest where dead).

yeah but see it that way, its harder to see but the predator is still nothing but butter, its still very easy to melt down, so to be honest i quit appreciate that change, tho they just need to nerf it a bit
It does not matter man. If you can’t see him, you can’t shoot him. He leaps like 10 meters from me and he is completely invisible in leap. There is no way you can see him at medium ranges. There was a clear issue with sniper rifles shooting the pred from VERY LONG RANGES, across the trainyard or across the map. The FIX is going completely overboard. Make the cloak good at LONG RANGE and not at short to medium range, you add to this bushes, branches and what not and not only you can’t see shit BUT he also has bulletproof leaves, branches and what not. You finally figure out where he is shooting at you? Great, now drills those branches and leaves as he just moves to another spot. Its bullshit.

Nah man. They nerfed the med kit for like 60%. Before I could heal to full on my support (200 HP). Now it heals for less then 100 HP. But, but you can use medkits that span on the map… The ones that the pred can destroy… Can we “destroy” pigs? Nop…
Then again its obvious Illfonic are really bad at what they do. The new game mode and existing bugs since launch prove that one.
I’m actually trying to find a new meta for myself since yestarday - so far alpha seems to be the strongest with the right perks. CH is no longer usefull to me after perk reduction, but thats only because of my specific play style
Apparently the disc is supposed to be amazing now but I’m still trash with it.

RIght now (in my opinion as a FT player) the best tactic is ranged, especially bow. Probably elder. Going melee is a serious handicap for yourself considering how OP stealth is at medium range. You can shoot them and they can’t find you… Well, no idea about super pro 4 man PC premades but the rest? Oh boy!
You can kill them for me, actually that would help alot, so I don’t have to run around like an idiot looking for them, and can focus on the hunt XDDDD

you have medkit all over the map and one medpack can give full heal to two of you’r teamates dude… one support can take two syringue two medkit and two ammo box for his teamates. <_<; so yeah, not the best of complaint rigth there, even more so when FT have nearly received no real nerf damage based, Yautja bane is still monstruous and pred is easy to melt, again this was not the best way to compare

You mean the medkits that any decent predator destroys? That ones? You know what? Remove Bane from the game and revert the changes to cloak. I am all for it! Bane is not even close to as good preds make it out to me, I never use it.
@Arrow_calis Yeah, its complete shit in my opinion. Stopped playing support because of the change. Now its even less of a reason to play any class with gear. Just Dutch 87 with this build:
