Definitely. I’ve always thought it was a great film, and couldn’t understand why people were so negative about it. Now they see the error of their ways 😊

Nah, a katana can open a pred just fine. Not only that a katana is clearly superior to a disk because of its range.
Unarmed, meh. Outsmarted is how he won, by luring him into a killspot and dropping a fucking huge tree on top of JH, probably crushing most of its internal organs and smashing most of its bones. JH was coughing up blood and laid out, not because he was beaten to that state with Arnie’s own hands… JH got squished like a bug.
No sir, the way they were fighting was very typical for movies from the 90’s. And if you want to compare the different kinds of Predators and their fighting skills you should watch Aliens vs Predator, there you will see some dexterous shit.
Of course he outsmarted him, thing is, he was unarmed and still won by using his head. All the difference instances where predators had to fight humans they where never showed as this superhuman monsters that can’t be stopped. People with medieval weapons can win ffs.
AvP didn’t really impress me much, except for Scars amazing attack on the Queen when he performs some acrobatic spear strike as she’s about to kill the woman.
Something about AvP felt off, I just can’t put my finger on what. The Predators didn’t feel like anything we’d seen in the two other movies…
I liked the avp movies. The first one was great if you ask me. The preds felt weaker because they where missing their weapons. I especially like Wolf from the later movie. He was a badass.
Wolf is something else, he was definitely a true Predator. Just wish he had had more chance to shine in that movie instead of all the teeny drama they crammed into it. I laughed so hard and loud when he threw his shuriken at the blonde chick and pinned her to the wall🤣
Nah, it was nice the teen drama, it serve it purpose once they started ending up dead. Made you like them ending up dead even more. The only thing I did not like in that movie was the pregnant woman having his baby eaten and then aliens coming out of her belly (and similar events). That’s a bit to much for my taste. I don’t even think it clicks with the lore.

Yeah, the hospital pregnancy ward stuff was a bit… uncomfortable to say the least. PredAlien in that movie wasn’t how I imagined it would be, pretty disappointed with how they portrayed it.

yeah that’s what i thought i was thinking like 90ish meters seems more reasonable for what the devs want as the change i’m assuming is to indirectly nerf FT sniper play

Snipers still need to be viable and they do that at range. Personally I don’t use them but as the pred is now what use do you have for snipers? I sure hope they don’t go into the garbage bin like med kit (how it is now), minigun, grenade launcher, smoke (in hunt, its good in the new one) and support as a class just to name a few.
Well to be honest I’m not actually sure why they nerfed medkits now as I thought b4 that big pouch was buffed so that predators would feel like they have as much healing as ft but then they nerfed it so now I’m like YO nerf big pouch that shit is way to strong for 3 points
And I wouldn’t say support is useless they bring all the bags and take longer to bring down than anyone else which is a fair trade for low speed

harrigan was basically a super cop who pulled off action stunts, chewed out his superiors, pulls off raids by himself, etc.
He was pred 2’s primary target. The best LA had to offer. He also hit the pred with a weapon capable of cutting down multiple people/beef racks at once
It still took two government agencies, a train full of people with guns, several gangsters, and 3 maybe more police before the pred was ever wounded.
There’s a reason de-cloak grenades exist.
If anything, I’m happy; you can still narrow down the general area a pred is in by listening to clicking, at that point it’s up to your situational awareness. Definitely gonna change the meta a bit, makes me happy that stealth is an option now.
Also, I’m not entirely sure what you’re talking about. Weren’t you just telling predators to adapt a while ago with the yautja’s bane buffs?
Not to be rude, but try your own medicine, bro. It’s not that much different, I’ve played FT since the update and I’m still doing just fine with my SAWZ. I think you just need to adapt and work as a team to triangulate where the pred is.

They didn’t care about the humans at all as they were basically cattle that ran off with their gear, so they didn’t have any of the typical sadistic pred moments where they throw the main character around for 10 mins. There was no hunting, just pew pew wrestling aliens and shooting.
