It was remade for the Nintendo GameCube years ago.

Nope. Remade using metal gear 2 engine.

We will probably never see a full next gen remake of Metal Gear Solid mostly due too, Konami fired Kojima and his team. And its not a Metal Gear game without Kojima, and if they did remake it without Kojima I wouldn’t play it.

But but but, didn’t Sony just buy up the property or something from Konami?? Angry Joe mentioned something about it on his recent video…

I know Kojima is working on a horror game at the moment…but damn, imagine Metal Gear Solid on PS5 😳

Its most likely the Silent Hill reboot, Metal Gear is done as far as I’m aware, but yeah most likely Sony bought the rights to the Silent Hill franchise.

Because Konami that’s why… if you don’t know the history between kojima and Konami then look it up lol
On a good note Sony and kojima are in talks with Konami to regain rights back to metal gear. And silent hills. Finally lol
