Why would you need to reload it? Belt-fed minigun with backpack full of ammo around 500 - 1000 rounds in it. Why would you reload it? I suggest getting rid of the second magazine and make it full 600 rounds or 1000 rounds without need to reload. Or if you got your supply refilled then you can reload.

I too felt that the reload seems a little off.
Instead they could’ve given it a heat mechanic. Holding down the trigger for too long and it overheats and needs a few seconds to cool down before being able to fire again.

Overheat should be a thing. Reload too but there isn’t a two magazine. It is an giant 1 big magazine that holds 500 - 1000 rounds. You don’t need to reload. But you should be careful of running out of ammo real fast. If not then overheat will be your problems.
