Mission Hunt

So an idea I had was that a fireteam party of 1-4 would go hunt down predators as the mission and not sure if the predator should be a real person or a computer but the predators would have different danger levels and the higher the danger the bigger the reward you would get. And it would be like if you click on private game it would take you to the private game menu where you can choose the settings or what you want to play and invite people to play, but instead of the options for a private game mode you would be a button labeled mission select and once you click on it it would open up a map of the earth and it would have different hunting grounds mapped out and the info of the predator in the hunting ground.

What does everybody think good or bad. Or absolutely horrible.

Its been mentioned. But I don’t think it would run well.

Like I mentioned it before, a pve thing where ft and pred team up to fight a really powerful boss.

Like a really hard mission against stargazer.
I mentioned it like a year ago lol.

Sounds cool kinda like the book but wouldn’t run well knowing how illfonics ai is. If someone else made the game it would be a good idea

That actually sounds fun. And I already have a perfect idea for the boss, the weird hybrid predator from The Predator (the big guy). The thought of shooting him or stabbing him brings a smile to my face. 😊

Basic they could have in an avp game is a horde mode where ft and pred can team up against xenos but in hunting grounds they’d have to make up some creatures or like you said stargazer squads

The stargazer mission sounds like the easiest to implement. Basically it’s a huge high tech facility, where theres only advanced units that are extremely deadly to ft and to pred.

Both pred and ft have to go in stealth and pred basically goes around covering ft against tanks, high tech armor units, ect. Pred also can go around disabling security systems like turrets and such.

at the end you fight like a mech or super tank.

The only reason pred is teaming up with the ft is because, the ft are all people that have killed a few preds, so pred wants to hunt them, but get knows they wont survive this.
Plus all this stargazer tech Is all made from copying pred tech so hes gotta destroy it.

But ya that’s the basically of it.

Also, you can even make it pvp-e by letting another group of players control stargazer units.

Lmao this shit sounds fun, but I dont trust illfonic to make it.

LMFAO HAAAAAAAAA bro throughout the years I’ve given so many ideas and feedback that the majority of people wanted xD.

I joined the forum to try to make sure this game would be as great as I knew it could be. Unfortunately illfonic doesnt actually care, so all my effort was for nothing.

Honestly hurt.
I gave up a while ago though.

All I want now is a 2v8 hunt. That’s it.

Btw as for your idea you mentioned here.
This could work pve or pvp.

Basically the pred gets a more evolved version after you kill the first one if you can.

I would say 3 or 4 levels to the pred.
After each death pred comes back with more tech.

So at the last stage hed have full body armor with shields and waaaaay more powerful weapons.
I’d rather the tech route than hybrid pred route, but that could be like stage 3.

Idk just a thought.

Yeah. I dont play this game often anymore though.
Balance and performance in the current state make it so that the game isnt that enjoyable anymore.

I used to be really good on pred and ft tho.

Yeah sound fun but definitely want another company to make something like this and what I want the most is just an open world predator game and definitely hope illfonic never gets the license for predator again.

Honestly, use the environment.
That’s the best tip I could give now a days.
A lot of people dont.

Youd be surprised as ft and pred how using boxes, walls, ect. To block incoming fire helps.

Unfortunately, I losted it. Had the receipt locked away in my safe keeping cache next to me my NECA collection. Dunno who fucking touched it but I’m pissed.

I think thats where everyone is rn and its kind of sad considering you can have a better experience just teaming up as 2 preds in any AVP game.
