…the God damn spotting was insane, the sniper can suck my left nut, and if I got within 20 feet of anyone I was welcomed with a 1011 to the face. That match was irritating as FUCK.

GG bruh, that was an irritating match for me too lol. I had to carry those potatoes and we didn’t even start the first objective.

You’re pretty good with the disc too. I had to run around the map to find syringes and med kits because you kept taking away all my health with the disc

What class was used?

I think he was using Scar Stalker or Fervent

Both are good for disc

I prefer scout tho, because when they find you, you can leap away and never be seen again

Used scar stalker with combi n disk, running long jump pouch and DR.

leaping away was not a problem, getting a spot to hit them from was fucking annoying. And the spot-happy bastards took my mask 3/4 into it.

I honestly prefer scout for disc just because of his mobility. Bunny hop to a safe place, strike, and maybe get in a few split second bow shots for finishers/downers. Overall an easier playstyle in my opinion.

Yeah. That’s the meta. Super annoying that illfonic will never nerf or rebalance that or any other issues the game has.

That being said, Console teams that use that setup are the only ones that feel remotely dangerous anymore.

In the tournament the good teams still won all their matches with non-meta locked builds. Vs some best preds in game.
It’s not the meta builds it’s the players and the pred is not that strong vs 4 coordinated players

Even if you played 4 good console players with non meta builds you’d most likely lose 3-0

It’s PART of the balance problem. I’m not in any way saying that teams can’t defend themselves, complete the mission, and exfil without this setup. Sawz50/1011-12 just makes it twice as easy.

Obviously, there are broken quick missions, specializations, and passives, as well.

Im just saying they’d still be dangerous without the set up. Accurate teams have high dps no matter what gun is in their hand.

Are you BigDiskEnergy? Would be nice if your bitch ass would stop dodging me in every match while crying on mic how I’m an exploiter/cheater just because you got your ass beat. I dodge matches as pred too when ping is too high. Nothin wrong with that. But you don’t need to be making up bullshit excuses and spreading false shit to the other players before you leave just to cover for the fact that you’re scared and don’t wanna sweat. You got proof? Otherwise just leave the lobby and stfu

DPS is also only a small part of the problem. The bigger issue is damage per exposure time. Nothing comes close to the Sawz50 in terms of instant damage and range. Then, when it comes to DPS, the 1011-12 and Grimtech19 have the potential to exceed the next strongest weapons by 40%.

I’ve always wondered what Privates would look like if the Fireteam ran 7ENs and Grimtechs instead of SAWZ-50 and 1011-12s, and then the Predators no Down Range.
They’d probably be a lot more interesting balance-wise.

To hit max DPS on the Grimtech19, you’d have to be pulling the trigger 13 a second, so I’d would probably bring the damage down quite a bit.

Personally, I would like to see the 1011-12 capped at 6.5 rounds per second and the Grimtech19 turned into 3 round burst fire with a trigger delay that prevents more than 9 rounds per second.

They could really do some interesting things with all weapons.

  • OWLF Pitbull could have a charged burst fire
  • Plasma Prototype should be able to switch to a charged single fire mode

I was going to make more suggestions, but you get the point. Every weapon should have qualities that make it useful in some situations, but detrimental in other situations.
