Moment of appreciation

Lets take a moment to appreciate the awsome score that will be nomore. 💔 this was cool to see, and tbh i always thought predators theme was done on a soundboard idk why? If i had to say i think maybe from the time i was growin up and how things like that were still making way, but to see it done by an orchestra and knowing it was done that way just makes it that much more majestic for the scenes where you hear parts playing.

Ive always knew orchestras were used in things like gladiator, interstellar, conan, and things where instruments are obviously used vs a soundboard/mixer. Anyway shating it with ppl im sure can appreciate it. Apprently Dan wrote a score for bad/budlands that im curious to hear now since hes gonna have a big shoe to fill.

Silvestri improves on his Predator motifs so much in 2. Its not captured well in this performance but the whole percussion ensemble used throughout the film, most notably the King Willie sequence, is absolutely fantastic. Truly captures a jungle environment, then you add the building orchestra and chorus and ugh…so good. We will never have something like this in a Predator movie again, these types of scores and scenes were pure 80s and 90s.

You start to hear the percussion hits going into the 2min mark, then the tempo slowly increases with more orchestration being added before it all cues in at 2:52. Then it’s all good shit from there.

Yes thats exactly the part i was hoping to see in the live concert, i think parts of that was used in the ship at the end as well
