I ran it for a while. Emissary, Protection, Large Pouch, Medic, and Savage. It’s good, definitely solid B tier.
Savage can snowball into extremely easy wins. Once you get that first kill without getting second winded, you can be ballsy on your quick claims, and that extra health means you can just keep fighting until the rest of the team is dead.

Yeah. You have to be picky with your claims. Both in positioning and current health. The 1600 health is what makes it the most viable. Sawz50/1011-12 swap mag dump is definitely a problem, but it’s basically THE problem with balance.
One Assault Fanatic can at 0m get 1596 damage out of a Sawz50/1011-12 shot and swap. However, usually this would be lower from range damage drop off, you can’t miss any shots, and quick claims are really quick (too quick, imo). On the other hand, more than one player will probably be shooting at the predator and your likely to not have full health when initiating a claim.
If you’re up against a macro/turbo Grimtech19, well, you’re screwed.

Yeah man if yall actually watch the gameplay, it’s like I have the net gun for a reason.
I definitely snowball the kills as best I can and use the net gun to “secure” the claim. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
The meta of going bolt action and the 1911 definitely shuts down ANY cqc predator playstyle. (Which unfortunately for me is how I like to play)
I really enjoy having those 1v1s and cqc scuffles with any team, however; you have to play your cards right and there is little room for error.
I definitely don’t win all the matches I play, but even if I lose it’s still ggs. It definitely is a pain in the ass to go against that meta of bolty and 1911, and some days I straight up back out of matches bc I already know that I’m probably gonna get melted and t-bagged even though what they are doing is the fireteam equivalent of using the axe.
I try to have fun with this game, seeing how it’s the only decent predator game (aside from concrete jungle). And as a big nerd of the franchise I want to have fun playing a game that I always dreamed of being real.
The emissary comp vid just showcases the concept of being able to use most of the different weapons on the sme base build. I run adrenal boost, ironside, and either mask Pro or energy regeneration on those builds. Net gun and traps to “secure” claims and get aggressive FT off your ass if they decide to chase.
I dislike having to shoot a FT when they are down, especially the really skilled players bc in truth a true Yautja would make sure to long claim the best trophies.
That’s why I always try to 1v1 the LMS and make all 7 claims. The only ones I don’t claim are the MAJOR trash talkers and campers.
It’s about having fun and I try to make it fun for both me and the predator if I’m FT and vice versa. That’s been the whole point of me making videos. I’m tryna showcase the fun that can be had playing this game.
Anyways, yall can have the opinions you want, however, I hope yall can understand where I’m coming from. The communities make or break a game sometimes and over the years I’ve noticed wayyy more negativity than positivity. If yall want to better the game, and the devs seem to have abandoned it. We’re the only ones who can by having good sportsmanship, even when we get lost in the sauce.
I am currently working on a video of Dan and I just running around and talking shit, fucking around and win or lose just straight up having fun. (Although tbh we won most of em bc we decent at the game and FT is OP).
It’s just my opinion 🤷 but thank you for coming to my Ted talk and watching my shitposts.
