I wonder what it is about Predators that filters people?

The Supers not being that super and Hollywood doing a BIGGER, BADDER thing at the time and beating up the classics?

Or the fact they died the way they did? I mean they killed themselves to kill the Supers. Hanzo sacrificed his defense to get a good hit in and Russian guy blew himself up. Preds donā€™t expect to die to their own sore loser kamikaze tactics.

Prey is just slightly worse than Pred 2 in my eyes. There was a severe lack of music in Prey that stood out. I barely heard nor cared for the soundtrack whereas Pred 2ā€™s soundtrack was badass and kept the movie flowing. Prey also lacked Gary Busey and his massive metal munching chompers.

More so the story and the first on screen appearance of Predators working along side a human (which in the comics is rare but very common at the same time). Idk just seeing the one character whoā€™s meant to be the villain turned into a hero seems cool to me.

Plus I liked the action scenes morešŸ¤·šŸ»

Now there are some badass scenes in this movie such as Celtic Vs Grid and Scar Vs the Alien Queen, but can those really top the first on-screen appearance of Predators fighting eachother?

1 scene out of many doesnā€™t really have the iconic feel the AVP movie had. Sorry though it was cool to see the two Predators fight, you got to see the best out of both opponents on AVP

That wasnā€™t the only good scene in Predators 2010.

Falconer Vs Hanzo, Royce Vs Mr Black were both also great action scenes.

They implemented good suspense in both the scenes at the Predator camp and also when they killed the River Ghost, and when Noland appeared dressed in Yautja attire, the whole audience I guarantee were up in their seats. The scene where Isabelle tells the others about how the Jungle Hunter hunted down Dutch and his team and killed them ā€˜one-by-oneā€™ gave me goosebumps. Royce was also a more badass, ruthless, and smarter character than Dutch, and in fact came up with a better plan to defeat the Predators than Dutch did.

Donā€™t get me wrong though I love a lot of things about AVP. It was the first Alien and Predator movie I watched and I do love the action scenes in that aswell, however when I watch the movie, I do find myself just thinking ā€œGet the fuck to the Predators and the Aliens! I hate people!ā€ šŸ˜‚ they did also have my favorite design of the Aliens and a very cool Queen but Predators 2010 just takes the tip for me. It had that perfect spin on the original and updated score of the original, and just ticks all the boxes for me.
