Holy cr%##%#
this was a freakin scary ass movie i think yall should see.
It left the Were Wolf narrative to more so a visual narrative rather than a descriptive lore. There was a slight explaination, not an entire ancient or fictional one but more so one that was decidedly more observational and open ended.
The bulk of the film left the visual effects to play a more explanatory purpose and explained things ‘simply’ rather than what you might expect from were wolf films.
But the special effects was something more finely tuned stemming from alot of contemporary were wolf films up until now. I really liked it.
It was supposedly part of the Monster universe of Universal pictures, but didn’t. Not sure if that was just a marketing ploy as most of these reboots often incurr. They shouldn’t because its more of a way to make franchise instead of film. Hard to place these days.
I also think it opens up a potential sequel.
Anyone else got thoughts about the film?
