Colonial marines are not particularly clever but their weapons are worth more than all of them combined & a pred couldn’t survive a hit from a pulse rifle technically as its going to blow a hole in the target.

Its unfortunate we never get to see what a pulse rifle does to a human body but they’re basically explosive hollow tips. Considering these are their anti-personnel rounds and complete overkill, i’d hate to see what damage from a heavy pulse rifle looks like.
