My Feedback from personal game experience.

So I would like to take the time to message you directly (posted a little on the forum and have been seeing other posts about the Predator being too easy to be the hunted). Hope I dont come off as rude or anything.

  1. Second wind. The biggest flaw with it is the predator’s lack of mobility. He should be able to leap into the trees to get away and heal. Too easy for the fireteam to catch up and kill the predator due to how long it takes to heal.

  2. Fireteam melee damage. Straight foward, it’s insane. 5 hits to put a scout into second wind, 6 for the hunter and I wanna say 7-8 for the Beserker. I think fireteam melee damage should be halved (I know I’m not an expert in game balance or development but simply due to melee strength I dont fear the predator). Also the parrying system. Far too easy to actually parry the Predator with no draw backs, put this on top of melee strength and the predator is actually at a disadvantage in melee most fights, it feels weird. I think fireteam parry needs a small small delay so when the predator attacks, it isnt immediately parryed (currently how it is).

  3. Predator healing takes so long. I know there is a perk to side in this, but it still takes forever, and once you are in second wind, your mobility is gone and you have top hope they lose sight of you so you can heal instead of actually fleeing to a safe location.

  4. Spotting the predator. It is so easy to spot the predator and hear it. For a stealthy fighter its loud and easily noticed when it is in the area. The noises the predator makes should be lessened by quite a bit or simply made so only the predator can hear them. The fireteam should have to keep an eye out for visual queues the predator is in the area (like scratches on the branches or the sound of its feet or even the leaves falling as it jumps from branch to branch) not just the clicking sounds which are a dead give away.

  5. The Predator’as cloaking is pretty meh right now, easy to see and keep track of. Once the predator goes 100% invisible (like how it does when its standing still) it should be able to maintain that level of invisibility for a few seconds at the least when moving so to reposition without the fireteam simply watching it. This added with the removal or lessening of the predator sounds will give the feel of the predator as described in the first movie when the woman says the jungle came alive and took the soldier.

  6. Personal preference. I think it would be a terrifying and amazing mechanic if the predator can receive the option to drag a downed player away to a safe location for an even longer execution than normal for a truely perfect trophy. You skin the body like how he does, take the skull and clean it.

  7. Forgot this one. It’s really easy for the fireteam to complete their objectives and escape. Giving the predator the ability to destroy the chopper and force the fireteam into a hunt or be hunted scenario would be phenomenal and terrifying. A new timer starts at 5 minutes, a new exfil point the team needs to reach and hold out for until the 5 minutes is up for the new chopper to arrive or they manage to kill the predator. The guerrillas know the fireteam is here so the reinforcements come pretty regularly until the 5 minutes is up, if the team is on the escape chopper and it gets shot down, any members aboard lose a sizable chunk of health and all gear they had left, including ammo, is now at half of what they had. This would ensure they just dont attrition the predator the whole 5 minutes. Injured, low on supplies, a new exfil they gotta reach with both the predator and guerrillas hunting them the whole time? Oh yeah, shit’s going down.

  8. Change it so when put into a game you arent auto readied up. Unless a player is missing when I get put into a game with all 5 people, we have like 2-3 seconds to choose our load out and our spawn area.

Anyways, I hope you read it all and I thank you for this really fun game. I’ll probably avoid the Predator for now unfortunately, there is no real way to practice with him unless playing him and I’m not confident in my abilities currently as the predator due to him having a far higher learning curve than the fireteam. Overall I’m loving the game, I would love it a bit more if the Predatar was slightly easier to play (I know I know, just git gud) in comparison to the fireteam.
