So far, I’ve seen its going to be geared towards 9-16 year olds. Much like the toons were. I mean, when i caught the cartoon back in the day I was borderline ngaf.
I don’t see how this is going to stir up a new generation of dedicated Ghostbuster hooliganism!
I mean, are there going to be trading cards? Action Figures? Breakfast Cereal promos? I don’t think so.
The thing is hanging by a thread but probably going to be marketed as “PVP” “PVE” simliar to DBD…and PHG and in a lineup of games created for the multiplayer gen…all the while competition is scarce so i guess they have something going on already.
Illfonic is just making social media a major part of the marketing campaign. Thats probably all there is to it these days.
Gaming companies must find the business lucrative when you need to promo it like a street-team and have a popular musical act play during interviews.
