Lol, I wanted to be special with TheSenate and Kayne
They could do so many things to replace Yautja’s bane.
For example they could make a perk where you gather 50% extra the amount of ammo from dead AI.
It boosts Fireteam offensive but not in such a direct (and in my opinion lazy) way such as Bane.

Every single other assault rifle is better than the prototype plasma rifle vs. the pred. If you’re equipping it, you’re doing so to massacre the AI and destroy all red barrels to prevent the pred from blowing them up on you then using your secondary weapon and knife as your main weapon against the pred.
Its a fantastic weapon to pester pred with (goes through branches). Not much of a damage dealer towards pred.
Rey showed me that. Also coupled with scout duelist, you can swap weapons and deal real damage to the pred.
Also after tinkering with flesh ripper and body armour, the AI are a thing of the past. (1-3 shoots to kill ANY AI and literally 10 bolts or less to destroy any annoying objective).
Think of we provide FT with any more defensive, hand holding perks or specializations, no one is going to want to play the pred.

That’s why they gave scout scavenger.
If ammo is an issue you can stock up your team with bags, there’s ammo crates ALL over the map.
It’s a suggestion non the less.
Try using all of the defensive perks at FTs disposal at once. Owlf trained, and body armour.
You recieve such a high boost in defense that imo if they get any beefier, there would be no point to classes since a scout could be built similar to a base Dante or support. (The amount of damage it can take, not hp points).
Ps having duelist on this makes you feel like you can’t die cause you deal so much damage.
