I am not saying its not harder then before, what I am saying is that is not as bad as people keep making it to be. Also most certainly not with randoms.
Yeah, I heard about those matches. 4 man good premades have certainly have the advantage, I don’t think anyone is denying that.
i mean imagine if your really good with bow… imagine putting a 50 cal in that preds hands and they are on ft.
I am aware its very hard to beat premades, my point is that the odds of fighting a GOOD premade when running predator is not high. You’re going to get far more randoms and far more wins even if when you’re face with one of those you’re going to get frustrated.
Is the game perfectly balanced? Obviously not, is it THAT bad. No man. From my part they could even remove BANE to make it less bursty on the pred.
You gotta keep premade and random/casual examples separate in these arguments. Right now premade FTs are OP period, PS4 (PS4 tourney FT limitations) or PC. If you’re going to argue otherwise, use premade vs very good pred stats and not overall win rate. These matchups are rare, but that’s not the point. The point is that there is less balance than before at the top of the game. That takes away from preds having a fair challenge. Whether something should be done about it a totally different issue. You can’t be combining all of this in a single argument. @YUPPERS likewise
That’s how many of the argument of this forum go. They’re all over the place and there is little hope of finding middle ground unless they are simplified
No, you can’t keep them separate considering you don’t have 2 game modes. If you buff the predator to match preamdes of 4 GOOD players you’re going to get a bloodbath in randoms. Right now people are advocating 100% and 99% win rates against randoms (the last 2 people that I’ve read).
So overall where do you think the win rates are? Don’t you think the devs have logs? Why do you think they decided to make this changes? You can’t please everyone and this game does NOT have the numbers for the devs NOT to balance are the vast majority but by the minority.
The best thing they could do si give pred some bonus stats (or whatever) when faced with premades. So if its a 4 man premade you get X increase in stats (or whatever). But you can’t overlook the MAJORITY for the MINORITY and screw most people over.
I really don’t think what’s complicated? That you need to take into account the entire player base and balance around what effects the most? Also and again, this is not even me saying this, it looks like the devs are doing this going by the last patch.
That’s fair. That’s part of my point. You’re not going to balance the game at the extremes.
And that is what I think the devs are doing, thing is its effecting the preds who fight GOOD premades and preds who only melee a lot.
Kinda sucks to top tier players on either side of the field, whichever side is overly nerfed. You invested all this time into knowing the game and getting good, but your chances of challenging the best are not good. The game doesn’t fully reward all the hard work, for the side that is overly nerfed.
everybody who plays this game is a filthy casual. I have not yet met a real “gamer” who plays this game.
Right. Though if you just melee a lot, there is still room for growth. Preds who are already really good have a harder time improving, except just being incredibly accurate at hitting their shots.
We have to reach a agreeable definition on those terms. Casual and real gamer.

One shotting ONLY happens with headshots on the FT members who are the fastest and can dodge… forgive my pack of pity if they get caught out and punished.
you can count on the death of the game if you want pred nerfed so hard randos can win… this randos individually are bad. Its should not be balanced around that at all. Every game that is a sucess take the top elite players and ask what needs to be done. Not some one week wonder.
And when FT quit playing since they die over and over and predator que goes to all hell (it was already reaching 20 mins) what then? I do think its more important for them for predators to have somewhat decent ques then balancing around a small minority.
the game is already shit, your bringing up the infinite loop of discussion as a lot of people do not care what you say on balancing.
-Some people want to create there own games but we have found the pred in its current state cannot come close to wining.
I sometimes wish they never made it for PC cause I was expecting so much more than this as I get way more fun out of 2010 avp
What I say or you say its not really relevant to anything, aside of having a discussion here. The devs are the ones making the balance and the direction they took is obvious.
If you make your own game you could put some rules (like no bane, no this or that weapon).
its also obvious that i only play 2 times a week and dont enjoy it at all. Its a huge let down
How many hours have you got into the game, I am at 16d 4h (or so says EPIC). Even if the game shuts down now I can say I’ve got my money’s worth.
