AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMythic trophy hunters
Fuck thatâs beautiful.
PS. Thank you for sharing.
Why the fuck canât I get a mythical đ
Well yea but iâm not talking about itâs sharpness, iâm talking about scaling and the size of how the blade of a Spartan spear was
It does appear to be a touch small. The statue you posted is a pretty good size example. Spartanâs used thin shafts and fairly light heads on their spears, I like that itâs broken where as some of the other weapons arenât suited to it.
What are you on about now?.
Itâs a mask, you have the skin under the mask as your preorder bonus.
I do wish we wouldnât get quite so many dups, but such is life.
just opened another 200+ and got 1 red item out of them the system is trash get rid of the Dub system it serves no reason to have it other then to make players grind longer to get them. thats fucked up
Iâd be fine with never drawing another duplicate again, but I can see how that might not be practical. It would mean thereâs a set amount of Vert that youâd spend to get everything in the game.
Actually, I think that removing dups would be better. Less frustration and a clear ending rather than something that could theoretically take you more than a life time to achieve.
Hi Courier, Iâm Slasher. I donât think we ever interact over in Crystal Lake but Iâm concerned about the above. The crate system may need some form of tweaking or maximum expenditures put in place. I donât think I like the realization that I may be rolling forever, I know that is unlikely but without some form of confirmation that I wonât be, I canât get behind it as a mechanic. (Edit - Instead of mechanic I think I mean, feature in the game)
GOOD
I agree they should make everything purchasable with Veritanium the more rare the more expensive.
I dunno like make Mythic items cost 50,000 or 100,000 Veritanium
at this point ( even thow i think those prices are BULL SHIT) i would be happy to take that deal if they offered it
Not in my reply, but yeah, Drakos got it right. The spear wasnât really that impressive. Its the benefits of a classical education that has created this god like power behind sparta.
The Spartan army used the spear in unison with the bronze shield to hold off a million persians in the battle at Thermopylae. If that isnât impressive enough then i donât know what is.
My favorite ancient warriors are the Spartans and the Samurai. And to see how they made the Spartan spear scale wise in this game was dissapointing to say the least imo
Hey people good announcements incoming, toxic little shits can now be banned! So watch your tone!
Plz just get rid of dupesđ
We need some mods⌠and not for settling disagreements, just for a bit of much need tone correction.
(Thereâs definitely been so time-out worthy posts today, not full ban just a vacation to reflect.)
PS. Didnât realize that comment that popped up was directed at me, but yeah I think I agree we should get ride of them. There needs to be something else we spend Vert on to keep people who have everything playing, Iâm gonna think about it and get back to the forum on it later.
I asked as best I could, but I think ideas will need to be had for that type of change.
Yeah, the 300 spartans and the few thousand other greeks held off the the tide of persians by reducing their usable numbers. That doesnât make the spear itself impressive.
Anyway, the Spartans werenât really that amazing. It was mostly their own propaganda. Neither were the Samurai, but sometimes the fairytale is all that matters.
TACTICS made Thermopoly not just the Spartan Spear though. The Spartans had better armor and weapons/shields and most importantly they faught smarter. The Persians had numbers but they were cocky and because of that they made poor decisions that cost them dearly. That said Spartan spears were awesome at the time because they had bronze while not alot of others in the region did at the time. So superior tech basically. Statues and media while awesome arenât necessarily historically accurate. A spear doesnât need a large gnarly head to be badass (outside of fantasy where everything is exaggerated to be more epic, lol) a slender but strong blade while not as intimidating will get into weakspots easier and the most important part of any edged weapon is the âwedge shapeâ cutting area. The more razor thin the sharper it is. Thatâs why most sword enthusiasts make such a big deal out of the katana and less about the european equivalent bastard sword.
Yes it does because without that weapon together with their bronze shield their phalanx line would have folded within the first encounter with the persians.
They use the shield to create a wall then spear to stab and kill the enemy while still holding their shields up lol wtf
If they didnât have the spear their ability to hold off wave after wave of enemy persians would have overwhelmed them within the first day
