Hello All,
I was watching a few streams of Predator:Hunting Grounds and here and there (different streamers) speaking about:
“Use quick animation for paring”
“Try long animation against NPC”
I, for one, am not aware of how to trigger quick and long knife animations…playing on PS4.
Anyone knows about these or it is just “streamer bullshits” :D
I’m not sure but you get different animation if you press L2.
You have a light attack (fast) and a hard attack (slower). Don’t know about more.
L2 is a heavy attack, it’s an over head stab.
R2 is a light slash, it’s a faster animation.

I am such an idiot…I am using the melee as R3 missing mostly…wtf, dumb me, shame
Aim button with knife = long
Shoot button = short

If you hold R3, you’ll switch to your knife.
There’s a surprising amount of tricks hidden in the control set up.
Switch using L1 is more reliable though.
Absolutely, I am ashamed. All this time I switch to the knife using R3, once knife is equipped I was hitting R3 so to attack with the knife…later on when playing I will try out the proper method… so many downs because I could not pary… :D
the stab (secondary) is absolutely useless
