Nazara was a member of Enforcer team, he thought there’s no hunting like the hunting of representatives of his own species. Especially, when they put themselves above the law. However, he changed his mind on the first mission as Enforcer.
It’s always hard to believe that some creatures from Elder’s stories exist in reality. Especially the ones with the blunt name — Dire Wraiths (they’re from Rom vs TF crossover) — the parasites capable of taking the form of the creatures they infest. Specifically, when one of them is Upgrade predator now, who led Bad bloods.
Nazara was knocked out first, maybe that saved him. The others were less fortunate. After that, another team found him and returned to Yautja Prime. No one believed the story about the attack on the Enforcers by an infected predator. Realizing that if the infected made it to the colonies or the Mother world will not bode well, Nazara decides to find him on his own.
He searched for any signs of Dire Wraiths’ presence in other worlds, which led him to the border of Decepticon-occupied territories. Here he met Airachnid, the first Cybertronian he had ever seen in his life. And the giant-talking-robot didn’t excite him. In a short fight with her, he lost his left arm, but the Decepticon also didn’t come out of the battle in one piece. That’s how they became allies.
Airachnid has always admired the Yautja culture, their cult of hunting. So she offered Nazara to join her on mutually beneficial terms: she promised to teach him one of the dialects of the Galactic Council space (from TF comics) and give him access to Decepticon resources (her ship (free taxi lol), maps, money and fuel for his own ship), in exchange for him teaching her how to hunt. Like yautja do.
Nazara was agreed. Communicating with other species is not the same as hunting them. Nazara knew no local languages, no local laws, he also hadn’t local currency, and that made things very difficult. Cooperating with Airachnid was the solution.
Moreover, it’s not so easy to say “No” when you’re bleeding. In the aftermath, his new cybernetic arm will be made from pieces of Airachnid armour that he damaged during the battle. Later, their cooperation expanded: Nazara helped her track the Autobots. Airachnid in turn helped Nazara with his mission and showed him how to kill Cybertronians.
They worked well together, but Nazara still dislikes giant-talking-robots.
