Now I’m not going to say that the predator is easy to play, most of the predators gear is not easy to use and requires some thought into what you are doing, and I’m not going to say that the fireteam is weak, their not, it’s hard to kill the fireteam as a predator, unless you use the combistick and playing berserker class, literally within 5 minutes of a match I was able to wipe out the entire fireteam with little to no thought to it, and every match I’ve gone into their has been a berserker combistick combo that is just broken AF and makes it kind of pointless to use gently of the predators actual kit, with it’s high damage, wide area of effect and just all around no aim use makes it almost impossible to deal with, unless you can parry with that small window of opportunity, never mind that if your fireteam is close together the predator can wipe out the entire team with basically 3 hits. Dont get the wrong idea other than the combistick it is actually hard to play the predator and is challenging, but the combistick just makes it too easy I’ve only played the predator 2 and the 2nd time was when I used the combistick, and I eliminated the entire team, nerf it so scrubs like me cant abuse the combistick and just make the game god awful
Nerf the damn combistick
If the fireteam you are facing knows how to parry combistick is useless as has been stated in about every ‘combi needs nerfed’ ‘combi is op’ thread. When a berserker with combi can’t be taken down by a fireteam with knives come and see me because odds are there’s a change in the wind matey.
I have seen people parry the predator and still get stomped on, doesn’t help when all he needs is a good 2 hits to down someone and how fast of a combo it is, unless you completely going senile it is not that hard to play the combi stick predator, im not saying that the fire team is weak, just merely mentioning that a wide area weapon shouldn’t kill the fireteam so fast, leave that to the war club or something that doesn’t do area damage
Combi stick has already been nerfed twice. If your queing with randoms that’s your fault not the Predators. If you make mistakes that’s your fault not the Predators. If your team mates make a mistake that’s their fault not the Predators. Stop saying the weapons or the Predator needs a nerf, play better, play smarter. Form a team and communicate.
Try support, if that’s not enough run the “thick skin” perk. Pretty sure it takes a solid 5-7 hits depending on the perks. I could be wrong, but I played him recently and remember thinking “How am I not dead yet?” as the Zerker wailed on me with the stick. Plenty of time/chances for endless parrying. Or, if you can’t parry reliably, select the Scout with double time and just swap to the knife and run away (just don’t abandon your team, only run if he’s actively going for you). Zerker wont be able to touch you. I’ve actually seen some teams bait the zerker with a scout while they’re all mudded up and when the Pred ran in, the scout just ran around while the team melted him.
But yeah, if your team isn’t actively watching your back, if you’re not covering each other, you’re not gonna stay alive. And 99% of randos don’t do that. Let’s be clear, running up ahead and collecting veritanium and never looking at your teammates or the trees/rooftops above them to provide cover/spotting isn’t playing as a team or covering each other. Just becasue they’re still within your radar screen, doesn’t mean you’re coordinated. You and everyone on your team should assume something is about to jump down or open fire from above, and you should all be responsible for keeping the others alive. But again, randos don’t give a shit if you live or die so good luck lol

Tottally, like it takes 2 or 3 blows to kill a fu**** pig with it, yet only takes 1 (ONE!!!) strike with knife to do the same job. What the hell does he wants to nerf more?!

No. As others have said it’s been nerfed twice now, one more and they might as well just delete it from the game. It’s supposed to be strong, it’s one of the Predators most iconic weapons. If a FT is being wiped out by it, that 100% on them. The FT has MORE than enough ways to counter it.
The Combistick is the only melee weapon worth using; if anything, all other melee weapons should be buffed.
Combistick takes about 5-7 hits to kill, maybe 3-5 if Fearless is equipped.
It doesn’t need a nerf. The zerkers need their movement speed reduced which will help the FT avoid them. Since they get all that strength and HP they should be slow as hell.
I still say the devs created these rushers by nerfing the plasmacaster. Taking away the preds main ranged weapon has forced people to play melee.
Agreed…that it’s a pain in the ass. But after the update, Zerkers have been toned down so we should see less of the old parade dance of death.
Combi stick has been nerfed twice. Combi stick got nerfed from trial to full game release, then it got nerfed again in the first update.

Another newbee that complain about the worse Predator class in the game. Larger hitbox, slowest movement, shortest leap, shortest stamina (easy to chase in second wind) and worse strategy of gameplay because running against 4 ft is a suicide. Just learn the game and taking time.
