So I don’t know why this never fucking dawn on me, but you can pretty much wipe the floor with someone who gonna perry you with the net gun, I had two guys try to knife me, and the second I hit one of them with the net gun he was fuck, same with his other buddy. It really works wonder against those FT who just want to parry you when you go in for a close kill. So gonna say this bring the net gun, boys. Get in close fire the net gun and wreck their shit then get out for a repeat.

Yeah problem is, the games so damn clunky (on PC anyway) that I God damn hate aiming anything. I’m standing beside a guy trying to aim a floaty laggy bloody reticle and missing shots that should be easy hits. They need to fix the performance issues asap so you can use these weapons as intended… it’s unacceptable (and this is as fireteam) to look out at the water with 120 fps, then a literal 180 degree turn looking at the camp takes me to 45/50 fps. Absolute garbage.
Yeah, altho still baffles me how you parry a Combistick hit from a huge fucking alien who could bend you in half… with a little knife.

I’ve tinkered with all the settings, it’s an optimisation problem. Certain areas just destroy fps whereas others are fine. It’s not as bad when predator, very noticeable as fireteam. Join a private game as a soldier, go to the edge of one of the camps, and look out to the water and hills. If you have a good rig, you will be on around 120fps + and it feels buttery smooth. Then Do a 180 degree turn on the spot so you are looking at a camp. Watch your fps drop to about half and the mouse aim feel choppy and sluggish.
There is a huge memory leak happening or something.
