New 2022 Pred movie

Let them die

Read the synopsis first, then tell me it’s a character you can get behind. Tell me Disney isn’t pushing an agenda instead of delivering a simple Predator movie. If you can’t, then try switching the genders of the characters mentioned and tell me if you feel any different

Funny things about those books is they weren’t written by actual natives šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ get outta here with that

Fact. I’ll tell ya, I’m an American Indian, I’ve got roots in the Cherokee and Ojibwe, and this… Good lord, if someone isn’t trying to brainwash the public. Literally just go look at Wikipedia, disproves everything here

I read the synopsis. As well as all relevant information on this film.

Yes. I can. If it is a character that well-written by screenwriter and a well-played by actress. And all this will be part of a clear and thoughtful story.

I’m telling you. The film began to be developed almost in parallel with the 2018 film, even before Disney had its hands on this franchise. At least Dan was working on the story and script even before the release of THE Predator.

I’m switching it. I imagine working out a character at the level of Quinn McKenna or that ex-con from Requiem, whose name I didn’t even remember - it sucks.

I keep it. I imagine working out the character at the level of Ripley, Furiosa, Sarah Connor, Beatrix Kiddo - it turns out cool.

It all depends on the quality work of the director, screenwriter, actors.

Does this mean that as your passive ability there is an opportunity to read the traces of partisans in the forest unknown to you, as well as to be on a constant call with spirits? Ah, well, alcoholism of the level of Enoch Nakai, too. Or are these all not entirely reliable stereotypes?

No, I’m just gonna watch everyone’s sh!t fall out of their pockets from all the loop da loops from over here.

She’s known for her amazing stunts. That was sarcasm by the way she seems to have run through the choreography in an hr. Its oscar time. I hope we get some cringe kino out of the new movie on par with RE Afterlife.

Okay, what’s wrong with the actress? Maybe we can say that Samuel L Jackson doesn’t have any acting abilities, judging by Star Wars, or is it Lucas who ruined everything with his directing? Because, well, the actor’s performance also depends on the director. And from the screenwriter. I’m interested in watching Michael Madsen in Tarantino films, but in the Blood Rain of Uwe Boll, he’s frankly bad. It happens that the director and the screenwriter cannot normally explain to the actor what emotions and how to play. And there is Rick Famuyiwa, who, in the second season of the Mandalorian, made a damn stand-up comedian really act.

That’s a lot of cope for some shitty stunt work and mouth gape acting but ok. It’s a good thing Dan as a director is an expert in the mouth gape genre of nothing-happens sci-fi.

LIke I said, I hope I’m dead wrong. I want to be wrong. I want this movie to knock my socks off. I guess we’ll see when it comes out. But I ain’t wearing no rose colored glasses this time. After last time, I’m going in with low expectations.

Holy fuck, that’s offensive. I was… Not expecting you to come back lashing out like an angry child. But you made some points earlier in your post, so I’ll humor you.

I also thought that if they created a good character line and provided us reason to love the character, I would. For example, no one liked Palmer when she was introduced to Halo as a replacement for our boy Johnson, he always knew what the ladies liked. But I liked her. They provided us with reason to value her character instead of just slapping a female in there and going FEMININE POWER!.

I will be giving it a chance, but key words like gender norms, masculine, and tomboy, in the sense of earlier Indian societies? Seriously? Ofc men were the more dominant gender, typically providing for their tribes while the women were basically stay-at-home moms, even at young ages. However, most everyone knew how to hunt certain game. Usually rabbits, dear, duck, bears, as long as they paid respects to the spirits related to their tribe. Or some even forbid the hunting of specific animals, as it went against their beliefs.

As a synopsis on its own, I could believe it. But in a Predator movie? It just… Doesn’t belong. Not if we’re conforming with history. This is a bit like throwing some paint on your face and claiming you’re an established hunter in a typical indian tribe, fairly offensive. But like I said, I’ll give it a try. If I’m right, you owe me an apology. If I’m wrong, I owe you an apology. Deal?

Here it is necessary first of all to ask the choreographer, for example. Because (there will be a shock now) STUNTS AND BATTLE SCENES ARE NOT STAGED BY ACTORS. This is done by special people, whose instructions are also carried out by actors and understudies. If you have a bad choreographer in your team, the choreography in your film will be bad. Did the actress shoot and cook the battle scenes in your excerpt? Was she responsible for the choreography? I don’t think so.

Oh! Just like Hayden Christensen in the prequels.

And the actors ability to perform the stunt has no bearing here you think? Arnie did all his, correct me if i’m wrong.

Do you notice all the erratic jump cuts in female-lead action films?

I’m sorry if I offended you in any way, but that wasn’t the point of my message. I’m not angry at you at all. I just wanted to demonstrate how a critically small amount of information can lead to absolutely incorrect conclusions based on any superficial judgments.
I know that you are an American Indian, but I do not know you, your parents, your hobbies, your level of education, your habits. At the same time, I have no reason not to believe that you are a really good and intelligent person with whom it would be nice to spend time.
Also, regarding the film, I only know the synopsis (seriously, has it ever happened that the synopsis correctly describes the content of the film?) and who takes it off. That’s it. No trailer, no piece of script, no timing. nothing.

That’s what I meant.
So if I really offended you, accept my apologies.
