New FT “Royal Flush”

For those of you, like me, who enjoy scheming your loadouts to maximize survivability of your entire FT, I have a humble suggestion for what I believe is the strongest combination of FT Specializations, Perks, and Classes. And a name, for it, to boot.

I present to you, the “Royal Flush” -

Dutch 1987 - Leader - Thick Skin, Dexterous, OWLF Trained
Support - Field Medic - Dexterous, OWLF Trained
Assault - Deadly - Bane, OWLF Trained
Assault - Deadly - Bane, OWLF Trained

As long as you play with your eyes open, you’re probably going to win.

Please post your favorite combinations below!

Happy Hunting, tribe!

Although I want my enemy to be strong, I also want my tribe to be knowledgeable!

Its pretty brutal, I was playing with them the other day and we tore through every Predator like tissue paper, only a few downs over like 5-6 matches…it was nasty; against this you better be a surgeon with your strikes melee/ranged and you better be a stealth master otherwise its a bad day in the jungle 😂😂😂

@GetToLaChappa this is what you just did

I’d probably put in for instead of 2 deadliest either a recon with the slowdown when spotted or Dutch 2020 with the oversseer as it actually heals for 90 so every single obj completed gives everyone a free syyrette but 2 deadlies are still pretty good

Don’t necessarily know what perks should be taken if I had to guess the Dutch would probably take movespeed and interaction and he’d be the obj rat while the other 4 just fight the pred

And recon idk probably spot duration thick skin/bane and any thing else

Oh I was running it too with him and company. Although I never got to test field medic sadly

I should specify, that it doesn’t really matter much what the 4th FT chooses.

The Royal Flush is essentially the first 3 FTs, and dealer’s choice for the last.

True

TBH it’s made even Deadlier by the sea of bugs plaguing the Pred side atm, if those could be Fixed then we could see some real numbers and results but everything is just too inconsistent RN because I’d be interested to see how a good bug free Pred would fair against this. 😁

I mean just off the bat drop FT damage as a whole at least 20% other than that yeah you can’t really do hard testing with private matches bugged and parry blowing the pred off the game.

Honestly I think the damage is fine for FT and I’m a Pred Main, premades with good players will always be a huge challenge no matter what, but for the pub players that do not communicate they need every advantage they can get. Especially against salty Preds that like to feed on the weak after getting put through the grinder 😂😂

Edit: I see how that could come off after the fact, not calling anyone out just meant in general terms 😁

Fair argument. Now thinking, 20% maybe a bit much. Still gotta give the guy a little more beef. You’re not picking up stragglers in a premade and even most randoms with half a brain can do too much damage. Take a player off the board shouldn’t guarantee second wind.
A FT tutorial would do magic for balance. A world more than buffing damage could ever do

Agreed, also I feel that the devs should lean more into quality of life upgrades for the Preds as opposed to damage/resistance buffs/nerfs
Mobility being the most important, as far as being able move around the pred is very clunky, and there is a lot of stuff that could be done to make him feel more like a Predator. First off they could add a natural Predkour function to leap and sprint where if the Pred makes contact with any obstacles while sprinting or leaping (based on class) they will either vault over it, wall run on it, wall bounce off of it, or grab onto it ECT. (Branches and Ledges and whatnot) just this small change would really allow the Pred’s speed and strength to come into play because he could truly traverse the surroundings and make tracking him a real challenge, you could even add an element that these traversal benefits could cost additional stamina so as to keep it from being abused; and even further the animations and actual application could vary vastly between a Zerker to a Scout.

Boy do I wish I had more hearts for this. I would flip if it were smoother and more intuitive in the controls.

If I were to substitute a Dutch 2025 - Overseer for one of the Assault - Deadly, I’d give him Gearhead and Thick Skin.

He can pop Syretes and keep the team topped off.

Thanks man 😁, but in all seriousness nothing is more annoying than shooting straight up into the air because of a small rock, or not being able to sprint because my tow clipped an invisible something in the brush, or bonking my head on a branch. Just these little traversal features would change a lot for the better.

Sounds decent, very fitting name. Can’t wait for bigger teams vs. 2 Pred’s. I think that will be were we’ll really see the specializations be important.

You’re a vile person. Sinister and ruthless.
