Deathmatch: Predator Survival / King of the Jungle
Phase 1:
6 players starting as Predators, each spawning alone at random location somewhere on the map.
Predators hunt eachother in a deathmatch.
When a Predator player dies he/she will respawn at the original spawn location as a Fireteam player, Fireteam players are allied and are working together to try kill any remaining Predators.
If a Fireteam player dies then he/she will automaticly respawn after 45-60 seconds(unlimited respawns).
Phase 2:
When only one Predator player remains then a new timer(deadline) starts the new goal for the Predator is to survive for X amount of minutes, if the 5 Fireteam players manage to kill the Predator during X given minutes they win, if they fail to kill the Predator then the Predator player wins the round.
Some weapons, equipment and specializations should probably be unavailable, maybe even have ācustom madeā loadouts created by Illfonic that the players can choose from, both for Predator and Fireteam players.
Starting round duration = 15-20 minutes.
Predator survival timer = 5-8 minutes.
Interesting game mechanics such as restocking of gear for the last surviving Predator could be implemented.
Problem:
Game could get stuck with Predators teaming up in Phase 1 against Fireteam players and managing to survive until the timer runs out, ending in a draw?
Is this a Good(You friend!) or Bad(Kaka!) idea?
