I think it would be an amusing option to force a one on one knife fight as one of the many game outcomes.
Okay hear me out. There should be a lone survivor option to issues a challenge. This would only be available when you’ve used up your reinforcements and the pred has taken everyone out but one player. Let say you get far enough away (or to a predetermined location in the center of the map) you should be able to issue a challenge as a last ditch effort. Have an icon pop up for the pred or another location for them to agree to it. If the Pred player agrees all his gear is disabled except for the wrist blades and maybe have a small cut scene/animation for the Pred to take of its biomask. All human weapons are disabled and they are only able to use their knife and remaining items.
Thoughts?
