New mode and game

Illfonic instead of this game mode, I would have done 4 against 4 against 1/2 predator. If the predator kills everyone he wins, if a team captures the areas, they win. with 10 respawns per team

Limited respawns is good but eventually all the FT kill eachother because they kill eachother more efficently than the pred can. 10 respawns across the whole team would be over in a few minutes. And 1 predator vs 8 pairs of eyes is questionable.

Clash’s 3 players 1 pred, infinite respawns was probably the only thing that worked out the way they wanted during playtesting a fast-paced TDM mode like that. Especially with the preds hp being balanced around dying from 2 people breathing on him so the next person gets to rotate to predator.

Spawn camping needs fixing.

In rogue company there is a system of like

100-200 Respawns and then when u waste that… and not waste each other teams… ur pretty much done for…

I think it would be good to add that, good job on that idea… i will take a bit of my time to make a topic rn for CLASH to help other people :P

Hmmm, wouldn’t that just lead to: the predator just waiting until the two teams have depleted each other maximally and then just killing the last man(s) standing or alike?

Or two teams (just) hunting the predator down…

Maybe the last men standing at least should be able to surrender to each other and hereby switch sides. But that should not be possible before just 4 men are left, right…

Maybe, something also could be learned by Fortnite. There, you cannot just skip the mission (and e.g. just hunt the predator), as else you are dead (for those who never played that - there you must converge to the center of the map, else a circle, which decreases in size permanently, is killing you…)

Maybe also an asymmetry in team number and missions maybe interesting. E.g. a big team whose mission is to defend/hold a well fortified camp against a small team, whereby both sides are annoyed by the predators stings permanently - or alike.

So much possibilities… But let us first exhaustively try out the new mode at hand :)

Did you think of the queue times for the Predator when you came up with that idea?

True but even in Rogue Company that mode is unbalanced because people just hold the best angles. Which is why the devs still threw a “hill” in that mode to take over that moves around.

XD this is why i dont play FPS games or TPS games…

I only like asymmetrical games or just pure survival cause it needs skill lmao…

I thought about it a bit more… i think both sides should start with 20-50 reinforcements available and it replenishes it everytime one team captures the point… if they don’t do that on time the other team loses due to not having anyone to reinforce, to me that sounds fair and only skill takes place instead of camping mountains and stuff…

One pred against 8 FT? Ok, question - what if, shockingly, all 8 FT decide to kill pred first and then have a battle?

I played a little more of the game mode today. It is not a bad diversion, the chaos is fun and two Predators fighting is awesome. I am looking forward to a final game mode of 3 v 12 though.
