New mode will never happen

Why this game does not support a new mode.

The First being how most of the mechanics work. The Preda health is too low for more than 4 ft. Even if it was 2vWE or 3vWe. All the ft teams would need to do would be group up and take out the preds together.

The Second. Most of these type of games live off just a single mode and excel doing it aswell. This game does not need a new mode. (Maybe a ranked) but new mode no. A new mode would take away from the public gameplay and would make que times even longer.

Lastly and most Importantly a new mode would just cause more issues and bugs to appear that would most likely render the game unplayable.

This game needs only 3 things to make this game have a long life.
1: New Ft/Pred weapons gear and perks.
2: New Ft/Pred classes
3: A grand total of 10 maps to play on. So 7 new maps.

The biggest issue with adding more then 1 pred to the same team is that you are going to kill the ques. How many people run FT just so they can play with friends? Those will switch to predator.

A server list would alleviate wait times but that will never happen either.

Modes are on the roadmap though so they’re splitting the queues one way or another. If anything nows the time to test it out before a steam launch once EGS exclusivity is over.

Personally a fan of 5v5v1v1 because betraying people for veratanium is the spice of life.

Clearly it will come, they’ve several times stated new game modes are coming and one has been found in the files. Plus that newest map looks very large compared to the rest.

I mean you can think that but you’re wrong. They wouldn’t sink a bunch of resources into one if they weren’t sure it would work, especially making a map that seems to go with it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ill believe data mined bs when it happens. Every game i have ever played that has been data mined has never been true. So take everything with a grain of salt

The map, the fact they’re also in the files and have file names. He also claimed to have found code for 3 new predators that weren’t released in the files before the Elder, Alpha, and Samurai were released

This is most absolutly wrong and the came cannot survive in just one game mode bud and they will add a new one

Exactly, honestly they should just replace the old mode with this one imo it’s more lore friendly and will probably be more enjoyable

Dead by daylight has one mode

Dead by daylight couldn’t have another mode without giant core gameplay changes. This game can simply add in more Ft and predators on a larger map
