Still waiting on patch notes but looks like the new “mode” is private match customization. Which is awesome in it’s own right but I feel a little lack laster.
Love the idea, especially hard-core hunt mode but…damned if I didn’t hope we were getting 3v12

I think maps add the most replay-ability over time, out of any addition. The more you have the less repetitive it all feels.
I assumed back at launch we’d be on to a second environment by now, arctic or savanna maybe. It’s been about 9 months all told. To compare it to Dbd, who does one every 3 months, we”re lagging quite a bit behind. I assumed we’d get about 6 maps in the jungle, followed by 4 to 6 in the next environment. With maybe a bit of overlap, so map 6 might have been elsewhere with map 7 being back in the jungle, wrapping up those 6 jungle maps with something special.
I’ve had to set my expectations back, I still think they can get back on track and lean into content that varies it up. Maybe even add a bit of narrative to it to make it flow more naturally.
