New NVIDIA RTX 30XX series cards (fps in predator)

Ok the new cards are here…

RTX 3090 = 10k cuda cores / 100% times faster than
2080ti
RTX 3080 = 8.7k cuda cores / 50-80% times faster than 2080ti
RTX 3070 = 5.3k cuda cores / 5-20% faster than 2080ti

@OldKingHamlet im expecting my fps to reach 200 on max settings at 1080p

Lmao

I’ve been holding off updating my home system for a while (Combination of didn’t want to spend the money cause I always overspend on building PCs, and my 980ti sli still does pretty good on 1440p with current games) but that 3090 is purdy.

980ti is i guess like a 1070 but in maxwel form

I will be getting myself 3080 so im i guess expecting realistically like 120 fps on max settings aka cinematic lol… i got a 240hz display so its kinda bad when its dipping below 120

The reason for that is cause 3080 has been tested to run 8k resolution games on 60 fps… with DLSS technology… even without it will be better able to run probs 4k at 60 fps or more no dips

Yeah, the 980ti is pretty ballpark to the 1070 and within spitting distance of the 2060. And my gpus are liquid cooled so I have some good overclock headroom on them, so the performance increase to a new GPU didn’t make economic sense till this generation.

On a personal level, I think 8K is a fantastic waste of cash right now, and while I’m enjoying 1440p, 2160p is pretty darn nice. And the new 30 series look to handle it well.

rtx 3070 will have same productivity as 2080ti or even better but 3070 will be 500$ and 2080ti is around 1200-1500$ now. So 3070 have very good productivity/price ratio

I hope Illfonic team will add DLSS support for PHG in future
