New patch thoughts and opinions.

First of all, I have already thanked them for their work etc but I just want to add my input,

#The Plasma Caster three aiming lines should only be seen by the predator and if the fireteam is lucky enough they will see the three dots on an enemy or an object. but when you’re perched on a tree and getting spotted and marked upon the minimap while looking at your energy going down from your cloak it can get annoying as all that effort to stay stealthy and then you are giving away by three red lines coming done from the trees.

also, I think the pred green mask should be removed from the minimap and just kept on the screen. or vice versa whatever works best.

The plasma caster having its maximum change damaged reduced was stupid as this full charge beforehand didn’t always take a player down it took two full charges and then a couple more to kill them. now they’ve made it even weaker and this weapon in the movies goes right through you…

Scout Predator being the weakest and his advantage is range weapons, you would think his cloak would last the longest but it seems to zap down even when you are roaming etc and I feel he should be even quicker and quiet as a mouse as he’s extremely lightweight etc.

#A. I these guys have now be reduced? what they need to do is make these guys tough as rock and highly skilled and not a walk in the park. when it comes to that choppa coming I want to see people die by these guys and not make it to the choppa. same with the missions I want a challenge, not another fly needs squatting annoyance.

The patch was very refreshing and welcomed but still getting stuck in spots is an issue which I am sure they are aware of and tbh I amazed after 7 days how much this patch as brought on.

keep up the good work and I can not wait to see the roadmap and next patch to finally see that good balance.

and I want to spend my money in this game as daft as that sounds after this game is been out a while and issues have been addressed etc I hope to see paid cosmetics stuff.

  1. caster red line should remain as it is. Reason is, it is a strong weapo. That often can take you out instantly it also is unlimited and spammable.

  2. before, fully charged shot did 200 dmg or more, thats more hp than the support has. Support with hp and Def perks was the only class able to survive the full charge to the body. Headshot was a different thing. Treat charging as aoe dmg increaser, in case you want to deal more splash damage.

  3. why are you complaining that you cannot just 1 hit kill each shot with an unlimited use weapon that could be precharged before becoming visible to the FT? Chip their hp down, stop being greedy.

i get your point regarding the damage and now it is reduced surely they can remove the lines as you wont get chance to chip away with the automatic clicking and noises of cloak etc and then three lines aiming at you and that amazing cloak, there still needs to be balancing and it should always favour the predator

If you stand still, you are completely invisible.
AFAIK predator was ALWAYS visible, the shimmering effect was present in all games and movies that I remember.
Hell, even if I was describing said shimmering effect in a different game that has similar cloak/invisibility, I often read or used myself the term of “predator’s cloak”. Be happy that you are actually invisible when you stand still instead of distorting the image behind you, as you should in canon.

Red laser should stay, as I said, it is a base weapon with unlimited ammo and quick fire rate.
If you don’t want to make it obvious, hide your beam and aim at the FT when you are ready to fire, change position afterwards if you feel vulnerable.

Adapt, stop being greedy for easy games.
