City Hunter was a baby, but Gray Back is ancient man, he has seen shit, hunted pirates. I don’t see him wearing a pirate hat, cape or having a parrot on his arm though. He dose have some nice minor details on his gauntlets, a leather belt, most likely a trophy, and his pistol of course, which also is just a trophy. But apart from that still armed in proper Yautja tech and beautiful armour that is a mix between city hunter and jungle hunter armours

No, but serious, I think that fresh designs are needed (can’t wait for the Predator 5 desing) but keep them serious - don’t go Shane blacks way (dressing up preds as humans)
One awsome desing that i personally love is from and old DH comic book Batman vs Predator 2 - Blood Match. That pred and the two Arbiters send after him imho are badass

Well… not if they are done properly - they can have nice Yautja armours and weapons with SOME motives from respective time periodes. I woul not mind that at all. But if those to ladies will be simple dressed in human clothing than I will call pass on both DLCs… had enough of this bullshit ;-)

That’s because he looks silly, whole of AVP franchise is silly XDDDD No really, I have a book with design concept art for AVP - what they had planned was insane! Historical preds (but lore accurate) new designs altogether, naked anatomically correct preds… but what we got in the movie is just ridiculous, like they run out of money or something…
That sounds interesting. I have the book for AVP Requiem which has some nice concept art in it (but also a few really ugly ones). I think Wolf’s biomass is one of the best in all the films - a mix of the classic JH original and City Hunter’s, resulting in a sleek, sinister look that isn’t over designed.

This design was an artistic exploration of City Hunter. In result a unique set of armours was created. And the book was a great vacation read too!

Same artist, different design but based on same concept. Yautja must look like a Yautja… not giant man in knight/Viking/samurai/gladiator armour. Those creatures have their own style and aesthetics. Nothing wrong with that ;-)

I’m going to hunt that one down. Looks like a good read. But yeah Pred. should base his costumes after his prey b/c he honors and respects them. I think their own culture is lacking and that is why they are obsessed with humanity.
Ironically, now humans are becoming more advanced with technology but losing thour own traditional values. The Yautja may nuke us to reset our culture back to when we were primitive but honorable. From an advanced alien species perspective: it is wisdom, honor, contentment, and simplicity that is celebrated, not the untrammeled “progress” of civilization and the eventual birth of AI that will bring about our destruction in the form of the T-800.
