it’s literally a clip from the movie. What’s more sad is that is MONO instead of STEREO. Sounds horrible (as sound quality goes). They should have remade the whole sound instead of just recording a clip from the movie audio. Also, it should have been used for when the pred is using it’s healing kit.

Ikr? I didn’t even mentioned the candy issue, since I already got frustraded from the very first time I heard it him. I was like “wut? I didn’t use any Medkit yet”. xD
Plus, you can’t use any line from that menu, only the Roar… and it’s not a good one, lol.

Exactly what I think, this would be PERFECT while using a Medkit.
It’s pretty, pretty bad. It’s kinda lazy from them just cut that MONO sound and add into the game.
They need to take out the injection sound then.

Yeah. It really makes illfonic seem like a joke, but with some of the balance decisions being made, I can’t say I’m too surprised.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the new menu background, but that isn’t nearly enough to make up for not fixing all the visual and gameplay glitches that have been in the game for months.

Right my disappointments-
City Hunters roar sounds like one of those practical joke videos where all appears to be normal then suddenly you hear loud orgasmic screaming so everyone around you thinks you are watching a porno. The high pitched whine is the sound of his medical kit, it was lazy to pull this from a 30 year old movie and to do it in such a poorly cut way? Please re-record this from scratch replicating a similar roar but done right?
Secondly we cant can’t mimic “want some candy”

Currently, IMHO the new roar sounds great when you customize the appearance of your City Hunter with Other more futuristic looking helmets and shaders. I think it still sounds awesome, strangely not so with the original helmet when close up. I still feel we need something for when he is totally in his original film gettup that is more crisper sounding. Maybe a remastered version?
