New science thread

I suppose you can get it from image alone but id imagine it would be really difficult. The verbal clues help to explain the image cause otherwise it’s non sensical, unless there’s something about it that escapes even me.

It might be helpful. But yeah, it’s a weird one. Just something that sprang into my head when I was thinking of a riddle. I feel like it works if you follow the clues, but from my experience, my riddles are kinda impossible.

Easy or hard I wouldn’t get it, riddles ain’t my thing

Possibly. Takes practice. At least a part of it trying to figure out how the person who made it thinks. If you’d see ten if my riddles solved, you’d likely notice some pattern.

Ok nevermind then. Say, does the reds and whites have to do with a certain historical conflict in a large country of the asian continent? If it’s that I’ll probably be able to get it, if it’s sports I’m fucked lol

Helsinki?

Not sports. Continent is large, but not Asia. I suppose they are all large save for Australia.

Nope. Wrong continent

City or continent?

Answer is city, but not in Europe.

With reds I can assume not red army, but reds as Native Americans then.

That’s where I was thinking with the civil war in russia. Reds vs Whites and all that stuff

I can easily tell continent, but City impossible, since riddle is too complex and not specific. I know that continent is North America.

The way picture and clues and set up is that word clues are aimed at a specific part of the picture and then there’s a extension to how that part relates to the name of the city. For example: if a picture had a car in it, the clue might say ‘its symbol is not quite Olympic’. So you’d perhaps think of Audi. And then Audi could be a part of the final answer…ie, Saudi Arabia (not a city, but best i could do at the moment) Not a good example, but that’s how this one is set up.

Getting warmer

You right. But is difficult. Maybe my example will be helpful

Don’t tell me, I will try to decipher.

Go for it.

Is it Nuuk? Capital of Greenland? Since Greenland is also part of North America?

It is not. Have to use picture. Name (one word) consists of two parts of you think of its meaning. You were correct with red being the natives and whites obviously white people. But even that can be a little tricky.

The two part name is similar to Budapest - two cities united to for a capital of Hungary. Not quite the same, but similar
