Unless you look at the patch notes on the forum which will be a tiny percentage of the players people are not even aware that these are a thing now, played with about 60 random people today and about 2 of them had their specialisation on, you need to put it in a big window in game illfonic, the specialisations are great by the way just a shame that only about 1 percent of the players know they are there.

Alot of people i can guarantee dont even look at the news section, it’s just down to really really poor design as to where they have put the specialization, they need to highlight it for a while like make it flash or something in the character gear screen, if only for a few weeks then people will look at it.

That maybe good if it is the only tip or trick they show for a few weeks otherwise people will miss that also, they need a big neon sign on the damn start screen rofl.
That could work if it’s larger and a different colour than the normal Tips & Tricks, I don’t even see them when they load now.
Alternatively the news Section could pop up informing you and needing to be cleared, until you select your first Specialization.
Speaking of the news, out of curiosity I just looked. Viking promo literally looks like a camera picture of a zoomed in screenshot of a screenshot. Oh illfonic

Every team of randoms I played with last night didn’t have Specialisations chosen. As Predators, how are we supposed to adapt if nobody is using them?
And let’s be honest, you can call them Specialisations or whatever but in reality they’re just a 4th Perk for FT. Fireteam now have 4 perks, and Predator is still stuck with 3 which is total bullshit and the lack of outcry about this is concerning.

The UI for it is quite bad, it is not visible in any sense if you are not actively searching for it.

Same way we always adapt. Give a little time for folks to figure it out, then we figure it out better as pred players

I’m intrigued and looking forward to the strategy and combination of these specializations and the future of how it affects gameplay. I think specializations are great.
The problem is it now adds another layer for the Predator to account for. Meaning pred players who already had to be extremely cautious and limited now have one more thing stacked against them with no help on their end.

But I’m a casual who wishes I had more time to game, and I read everything. Mainly because I love this game and don’t want it you die like evolve did. I think if they do some specialisations for preds if would be cool but most preds that were actually good, still are.
True but at some point don’t you think it’s much I’d be ok if the predators had specializations as well so ot can truly be even maybe a predator special that allows his cloak to go invisible quicker and maybe a bit farther as well, or perk that allows you to Shoot an arrow at their feet and legs and they stay in that one spot for about 5 seconds and then can move again maybe the spear can do the same, or a perk where if you get a plasma charged fully it knocks you down instantly, maybe one where the slam has a wider area of affect and blinds everyone around for 4 seconds… i don’t know i juts feel like if they are going this way then predator should have something…
