New to the game...

I have recently just got the game & I am looking for some ideas on build for clash. Or builds that people recommend.

Thanks in advance

Welcome! For predator, start with the hunter class. Ignore berserker and scout for now. Too slow and too weak, respectively for a new player. Hunter is balanced all around. City hunter (paid dlc) has slightly better stats that regular hunters.

For gear, I recommend the healing kit always, bear traps and audio decoys if you have room for both. Bear traps if you don’t.

For perks, I recommend large pouch, to get more gear uses (doubles the amount of healing kits you get). Then modified reserve for faster energy refills and light bender so the cloak uses less energy. Using this combo on the Hunters and ONLY hunters gives you near unlimited cloak or many, many shoulder cannon shots before an energy overload. If you’re melee based (not recommend for new players), Fearless and Impenetrable is a solid combo.

For weapons, the Elder sword is consistently the most dependable in tracking, combo damage and speed. Second to that, the Alpha sickle is a beast. Avoid the hammer, axe and club for now. Experiment with those in private matches with friends. I avoid the smart disc because I stink with it. The combistick is slow, but strong and also doubles as an indestructible ranged weapon, butnyou have to retrieve it after each throw. The handheld plasma caster is the best optional ranged weapon. It has unlimited ammo and good damage. Like a plasma six shooter. The bow is good for quiet, patient players. Charged headshots are devastating. The regular plasma caster is stalwart and true at all times and has splash damage. The net gun is useful too, provided you use fearless, giving your wrist blades an extra boost. The nets are easy to escape from, so you have about 3 seconds to slash away, which isn’t enough time to switch to a stronger melee weapon.

For you, I recommend a Hunter, using the HH plasma caster, Elder sword, Large Pouch, Light Bender, Modified Reserve, Healing kit and Bear traps.

Don’t rush in on any FT, lest you be melted in seconds, and never enter any buildings except the large garage buildings on Derailed. Buildings are deathtraps.

Good luck!

Be nice. Melons are always nice to new players

You only Need Modified Reserves with the Hunter to have infinite cloak since the Hunter has a passive for a longer energy with the cloak. So with M.R you wont need light bender

Neato! Is that a new change? It used to be the way I put it a few months ago

I think light bender and M.R. will permanently cloak everyone else except the big guys

I’ve always done that to clash threads
It’s habit
