If is up to the people, they’ll ask to play just like they do in pubs because they don’t want to let go of the meta.
My suggestions for you were not based on whether I like the rules or not, but on how feasible they are to implement. There were several rules of yours that required too much effort to enforce, and that was my feedback.
That being said, organizing a tournament is a lot of work and if you don’t have the support of at least a group of people, it will be very difficult. I was lucky to have support from several community members, including some of the best players in this game. A lot of people didn’t like the rules but in the end, we all felt it was way better than the usual “just anything goes”.

Look man. You’re getting all butthurt because some of us are a little more aggressive than most. That’s the aura of this forum, friend. We love each other (mostly) but we will also aren’t afraid to swing our bananas around. We all tried to help you, man. You’re the one taking it so personally that you’re giving up. You, @No-namepotato, @yautjasymbiote made the most suggestions. Would 3 of you be able to agree on a set of rules? Yous seem to be on the same page with suggestions. Give it a try, it would be interesting to see what comes out of it.

The problem with all these tournaments is that the people that organise them don’t understand that the tournament has to look appealing for lots of people to want to join. It’s the reason why no one joined Eshtion’s tournament and why so little people joined Jelou’s tournament. No one is going to join if the rules are super restrictive and convoluted.
The creation of the rules should be some kind of collaborative effort. Perhaps the organiser could use polls and get feedback from the community before making the rules set in stone.
Also, it would be nice if the people that organised these tournaments tried to reach out to people that are outside this forum. Everyone in the forum is already kinda familiar with everyone’s playstyles and have already played against each other for the most part. Bringing in players that we’ve never interacted with would make things more interesting in a tournament.

I’ll try my best . The first thing that I have accepted is fireteam is op when running against top tier guys . Accept that and formulate around meta builds in my opinion, for pred no ax for sure . No 27 minute spots that’s ridiculous. I would ask some of my friends for their insight as well and for everyone rule have a valid explanation as to why . And anyone that gets rude …. Go F off

Well, if your neck can’t turn that way, that’s not my problem. But then, don’t talk to say nothing. Afterwards, some tried to help me, that’s for sure. I don’t think the way you dealt with your protege contributed to my motivation to continue. And the fact is not to throw in the towel easily, but to see that one or more guys come to pollute a specific topic with the aim of deliberately sabotaging the project. Under these conditions, I quickly understood that it was useless to continue. That you, you work like that between yourselves is one thing. But I don’t accept that. I listened and respected everyone. It wasn’t enough.
Look I respect you tried , I was never rude and only gave my insight as a player , merely suggestions but I still would have tried to play irregardless
Now that calm and reason have returned, I agree to try the experience again for those who are interested.
