Guys,
The rules have been updated and will be posted within the hour.
I have taken into account all of the opinions received.
These rules will no longer be changed.
These rules apply to the group stage of the Tournament.

For the following phases, other “scenario” rules will be added.
I thank you all for your interest and your positive and negative opinions (Even YautjaSymb)

Based on these 1st rules, a “Registration” Topic will open.
You will need to decide if you register:

  • As a team FT
  • As random FT
  • As Predator.

This topic will only be used for registrations only (no comments).
A registration period will be left to allow everyone to organize themselves.
Ideally, I thought of a system where I need at least 6 FT teams and 6 Predators.

While some rules may still be controversial, how about tentatively accepting a set and running a few matches to see how things work. That will be the best way to show if something works or doesnt

Kind of weird that the HHPC is a wolf exclusive when it’s been out since launch and isn’t even his version. Don’t some of the rules also kind of screw people over who don’t have the DLCs?

It DOES screw people over, so basically about half of all predator weapons are locked if you dont have any dlcs

I wouldn’t say half but a few. Seems kind of weird to me since Wolf is an unfinished class and I personally wouldn’t spend a dime on him and a good chunk of people didn’t either. By this logic wouldn’t Exile be the only one who could use the bow being that’s the least technologically advanced ranged weapon?

At the end of the day though it’s his tournament so his rules, I’m just curious.

This tournament’s “rules” are what’s absurd here. You want to take away weapons from people who don’t have DLC, and want to make everyone generally 50% easier to kill so the match wouldn’t last 5 minutes before either a defusal or predator win

I mean people can read for themselves, if they join a tournament without reading the rules then that’s on them. If they dislike the rules they won’t join, if they do they will. It’s not that complicated and makes zero sense in bitching about it.

There is a way of speaking. Nevertheless… It is true that I forgot this question of DLC… Therefore, I will change this rule. Thank you for drawing my attention to this. For the rest, I don’t see any problems. The rules that were debating have been removed (for this phase).

You’re always changing this, changing that…what you should have done was make this topic the consensus of overall opinions and THEN base your rules off of that. Not come up with what you think is fair (its not) and modify it as you go along.

I’m going have to side with Yautja on this, I’m not hopping in if the current set of rules are going to be so jank. I was actually excited for this, since it would be a PS-only tournament and I wouldn’t get my ass shot up as fast as I would against PC players. I’ll wait and see what the final ruleset is, but if they’re still wonky like they are now I’m dipping. Which is big for me to say, only now do I feel confident enough to play in a round robin like this.

I mean, bro…if some of the best players in this game, people that understand the balancing more than anyone, are telling you your rules are whack, you should probably take notice.
