New Update 29th- Game Survivability

It’s coming out on the 29th the new map and mode will be available along with the patch notes.
Reasoning Illfonic on Twitter has been pretty vocal and dead set for the 29th to be update day.

Personally I don’t know if I left the game but this update is literally the make or break for this community. You can’t deny it’s slowly going down even with the 12 year olds joining this game.

That being said I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new update but mainly if this game can keep going as far as number of people playing it is considered.

This update is make or break for me, I’ve almost stopped playing completely due to bugs and just not enjoying it as much when it does work

There will be a large influx of players returning just to check out the update, but if it fails to deliver and actually feel like a Predator game then they’ll leave again…

It’s not so much about the new map/mode for me, it’s about how they balance the game. If they keep restricting the options a Predator player has and keep giftwrapping buffs n toys for FT then I doubt I’ll stick around. It’s going to need something special before I pay for another DLC.

It would make for an interesting dynamic. One run distraction while the other flanks, 3 would be overkill I would think but maybe not with the balance as of right now

They really really really need to adjust balancing issues and fix the crashes on this update/DLC. I’ll admit I’ve gotten used to OP FT but the scales are still heavy on that side.

They aint ever gonna balance the game out cause u cant balance out the game fully if the game is an ASYMMETRICAL game which means there is no actual balance cause it will make the game like CSGO lol…

The thing that i proposed was a hitbox mechanic that focuses on players needing to hit certain body parts of predator to inflict less or more damage to him.

I never like to talk about balancing because there will always be stupid people playing it like an idiot…this results in balancing.

You can balance an asymmetrical game, it just becomes more complicated. Hell, this game should be the easiest Asymmetrical game to balance I’ve seen. Unlike other games, each side is nearly identical to itself, and it just ends up trying to find that sweet spot where each side is even, factoring in literally everything.

Its not like evolve where balance for one monster affects the 32 hunters differently, and then those need to be tweeked, which then affects the rest of the monsters, and then back and forth endlessly until a miracle happens and you figure it out, but that never happened.

I was just implying adding the system for hitbox i proposed means that the DMG wont be the 100% same if u hit his foot or arm or head

I’m not thanos over here. I don’t expect perfect balance but I think we can get a little better than where we are I’ve read you’re idea a few times and like it.

Nah, this game has to much invested into it for it to fail so fast.

Patch and everything will come with bugs and stuff.

Balance is the easiest thing to change

I’m just hoping no one crashes anymore and the bugs people have been reporting have been fixed

A working game will bring in new players

The new map/mode won’t mean shit unless the game works and is ‘bug free’

Also stability and optimization needs to be noticably smoother
