To be fair, i didn’t like the ending of OG or 2 or even Preds. It’s either luck or suspend disbelief. Yes, it may look worse in this case, but the result is the same (I’m assuming Naru kills Feral with some strike of luck)
News about Prey 2022
I’m not saying anything other then the finale is a combination of the Meathouse fight from Predator 2 & the Ambush & Traps from Predator 1, with a HINT of Predators thrown in.
Is it acceptable for you?
Okay actually fuck it, I’m just gonna spill the beans because there’s no way people are gonna sit & wait or not argue among themselves over this. Anybody who does not want to know the ending has 5 minutes to leave the thread.
In one scene we start by watching an ant crawl through the forest. suddenly it begins to crawl into mid air and we realize it is crawling on the foot of the camouflaged predator. A rat appears and eats the ant. Then a snake appears and lunges at the rat, killing it iirc. Then the snake becomes aware of the predator. it squares off against it. we see the predator take its skull
lmao what even
Just blur it.
What’s the command for that?
There is a possible issue with it doing well. How many more bad films and games are they going to try to milk out of this franchise?
The last symbol (cog) on reply screen.
I don’t want to know it, but it sounds like there’s a lot of chaos. Like Feral was fighting on many fronts and Naru got a lucky shot it.
Where is that spoiler ? Someone send me the ending.
Nevermind found it.
but it causes its own mask to attack and behead him
lool
THE PREDATOR BROS WE WON THE AUTOAIM MASK GIMMICK IS BACK AND TEAMKILLING BETTER THAN EVER
That was also ridiculous. Like I get the correlation they were trying to make, but why would a Pred do that to something so small and unworthy? It’s so dumb.
Okay so here’s the ending for Prey from what we know. @Samhain13
Throughout the Film Naru is shown to be a much better Herbalist & Trapper then she is a Hunter, she specializes in mixing different herbs together: one of which has the effect of lowering body temperature. At the climax of the film the Poachers/Frenchman AND Raphael Adolin from the Golden Angel Comic team up to take down Feral much like the OWLF try to take down City Hunter in P2. Naru & her brother are capture & used as Live Bait. Feral shows up and catches everybody off guard, slaughtering his way through the Frenchies and in the chaos Naru & her brother manage to escape. Her brother puts up a fight much like Billy does in Predator 1 but dies in combat. Naru ingests the concotion which allows her to lower her body temperature and with Raphael’s flintlock is able to shoot off Ferals Bio-Mask. This enrages Feral and Naru begins setting up & using traps much like Dutch, including a Mudpit trap which she attempts to lure Feral to throughout the fight, with her constantly on the backfoot, injured & worn out and only able to hide & take pot shots much like Dutch. Eventually she manages to use her Tomahawk to lure Feral over to the pit at which point he tries to fire something from his Gauntlet at her to kill her, due to his Bio-Mask being knocked off and his worn out state this backfires and kills him. I do not know the exact details of what weapon it is that kills him, but Naru does NOT manage to do it in melee combat, only through traps & trickery. The film ends with Naru returning to the Village with Feral’s head BUT during the Resident Evil 4 style credits we see another Predator Ship arrive leading straight into the Golden Angel Comicbook
Really don’t like her returning the village with that. Whatever. Was expecting the Predator to be trashed at the end.
That hurts to read
I didn’t read it, but even if ending is so so, the rest of the movie can be good.
Perhaps the rest is so good that the crowd wasn’t that disappointed with the ending
knocks your space alien paintball mask off with a bow and arrow and kills you with it nothin personal kid
if only arnie had thought of this actually working
if the next pred doesnt caster his own head off it wont live up to Shane Black’s legacy
And people are saying this is the best Pred since 87. I wonder how much Hulu paid them to say this. Looks like once again, the Predator franchise gets a mighty turd dropped on it.
the free popcorn and drinks probably covered it
