Here’s the facts, though: if she wins from hand to hand, or even something like spears or bow and arrow, people will be upset. If she wins due to traps, people will be upset, because one, its too similar to the original, and two, it makes no sense because yeah, Dutch won due to situational circumstances. If a 300yo Pred is that stupid, then I have no real hope for the franchise anymore.

Yeah those are all fair points, I guess the only way for the franchise to truly succeed I guess is for the Predator to win huh?
Or have her act as a Machinko like character and be “adopted” into a Predator clan since her own tribe wouldn’t have taken her in or possibly because they where whipped out by the Feral Predator.

Win, or draw. To my recollection, the Pred has never outright “won”, and the only draw, in some sense, was in Predator 2; Harrigan won against CH but once the tribe showed up it was obvious he was no match, but they both were able to flee so I’d call it a draw.

Best draw I can think of where I think all parties here happy, I don’t see a draw happening in this movie. However I do have a theory where maybe Feral Pred is a Bad Blood and maybe at the end a Enforcer could show up to take him out.
Everyone wins, girl human survives / Predator dies / and we get a Predator fight / and a Predator lives in the end. Stretching I know but just putting another win where the movie maybe couldn’t suck.

Agreed, though i think this scenario makes more sense. She’s cough, weaker, cough, and she has less effective weapon choices.
Dutch seeming has a few hours which he used to make traps and bow with powder arrows and spear. Why didn’t he go for the weapon? (Assumimg he could find it and get there) He probably could have damaged pred really good with a sneak attack. Less flashy, but more effective?

Even for women who are into fitness, that’s not really enough. For jungle setting you need survival, combat training as well. Naru kinda fits the bill
Stamina, conditioning etc all that teenage youth and autistic children are lacking.
