Next Week is make or break it

The next free update is next week with the katana leaving early access. That update needs to include more than a lvl cap and the katana.

New maps or custom private games with 10 players.
Not crossplay invites that is not update worthy rather than hotfix worthy.

I play this game almost everyday after work and love every minute. Play both sides, but its starting to get old. Running into same preds and same ft. The horrible map rotation or mission rotation, is stale and also needs to be fixed.

@IllFonic this is make it or break update and actually content needs to be added to the game not just paid dlc and lvl cap rewards. Maps, modes if possible. Custom private games with more than 5 ppl if possible. Custom weapons, more attachments for weapons. @Courier this is important. The game will die at this pace and needs to be addressed. The game is in a sorry state and is failing to uphold what you promised prior to launch. Predator Hunting Grounds is 2020’s No mans Sky. Either start the content flood and open communication or fall short again and lose the game industry forever.

Also the bugs and glitches should be addressed but this post is more about the lack of content issues. I want the game to run smoothly just like everyone else.

No Man’s sky took over a year or 2 to get to the point where it was being praised. They didn’t open the “content floodgates”. They also didn’t open communication. They practically stopped all communication except for update news because the community was being a bunch of toxic, twats. Point is rough games do not make huge comebacks over a couple months and 1 update. Expecting that is unreasonable and naive. If you are done with the game then so be it.
Nothing wrong with that.

Im not done with the game. The point being this game is no where as big as no mans sky and a update with 2 maps and maybe a new gun or two will freshen up this game. This game is becoming stale to most players and some new freshness will make this game breath new life and also bring back the player base. I love Predator and will play this game till im the last player if need be but it needs content or a complete roadmap and more communication

You have valid points. I agree with seeing the same Preds and FT. While I think the game is far from dead I think a small core of the community is carrying the game at the moment. I could be wrong. I’m hoping we get a decent update with several of the bugs that are watering down the experience.

I’m hoping whenever they do release new maps it is more than just one. I feel like that would make the game fresh for a longer period of time and it would probably get more new players in the game. I’m really hoping the next free update adds a lot more incentive to the game.

maybe no man sky Developers should have been a bit more thicked skinned for Criticism. Lack of Communication by any company is Horrible.

Clearly you aren’t aware of the facts. They stopped communicating anything other than confirmed updates because they buckled down and actually worked o the game without blowing resources on PR management, but I’ve seen your other posts. Facts and logic aren’t your forté.

You’re expecting something crazy in the free katana patch? I’d actually rather they not drop some half assed map to rush to meet a deadline.

People do this every patch and get their hopes up about a mystery map drop

They should just make some game modes from AVP for Xbox and PS3 add maps and call it a day continue to do weekly updates for bugs small patches

How is a free map with the katana something crazy? They added an entire new Predator with the Hammerhead update. How is a new map something crazy? Sure i was just throwing out huge ideas. But the point of the post is that the update has to include something else other than just the katana and lvl cap increase. That is lazy

Things take time… the amount of unrealistic expectations in this place is staggering.

Odds are whatever is going out with the Katana is already done and packaged. Most of next months update is probably complete too, it’s why they were confident about taking some time off. Launching a game is stressful, and not just that first day or week, but for a couple of months. They have to deal with all the little problems, and the big ones, that come from launch. They have to get content ready for months in advance, they have to balance things around what’s actually happening in the matches, making dozens of little changes to do so.

PS4 patches have to go through certification, can take days. Odds are they sent the next patch already, or did today.

Try not to view it so egocentrically, these things take time.

Is it really unrealistic to have expected more than 3 maps to be available to us after all this time now? One more map, or even just a couple more missions for the maps we already have would have calmed most people down…

We can run these missions blindfolded and recite all the spike narratives verbatim. I’ve seen plenty of regulars in our group just straight stop playing because they’re bored, good players and avid fans of this franchise who love this game and what potential it shows. But to still only have 3 maps? It’s bad play on the part of the Devs.

The topic title is true for many, including myself. I will not be giving any more money over for DLCs if we don’t get a map or a mission. I don’t need another class, or weapon or cosmetics. I want something fresh and challenging.

Thanks man. I was super off yesterday and had some customers rattle me to the core. Sorry about all the hate. I dont think it unrealistic will it happen most likely not, hopefully we get news on maps on Friday and hopefully get at least one new map. Fingers crossed
